SBMM is the aids of Destiny.
We are tired of lag.
We are tired of red bar gods.
We are tired of every game being a sweat fest.
We are tired of being shot around corners.
Stop manipulating the system. Stop protecting noobs. Stop lying.
Just stop. We are all sick to death of you dragging your feet while we suffer.
Everyone. Up vote this comment and down vote DeeJ's thread to send Bungie a clear message. No SBMM!
Just look at this embarrassing level of trash we have to deal with https://youtu.be/L3AOUBZ7o8k
Keep this bumped, friends.

6 AntwortenThat video was really sad man, I know I would be upset if that happened to me. But I don't think removing SBMM is going to get rid of all the lag issues. If that were the case we wouldn't hear Trials players complaining about lag and we do, so lag is still present even when SBMM is not. If Bungie removes SBMM from the crucible it might turn out to be a mini Trials like slug fest where the really good players continually trounce the average players leading to a mass exodus of the casuals, much like what we've seen happen in Trials. There doesn't seem (IMO) to be very many casuals playing Trials anymore because they know they have zero chance of making it to the lighthouse. Those that do play, brave the environment simply to complete bounties hoping for a chance at some unique gear. But that is what Trials is about. It's a slugfest for the elite; the skilled PVP'er with the higher KD who thrives in that competitive environment. But the crucible is more for everyone, the casuals and the hardcore. So there needs to be some sort of SBMM so the community as a whole can enjoy that type of gaming experience. Not to say that Bungie has it locked down. Improvements still need to be made, as your video proves. But removing SBMM isn't the solution you're looking for.

28 AntwortenYeah right! SBMM is Aids. Before I used to stomp all noobs but with SBMM I keep getting matched up with real players who are good and who kill me! That's insane man! I mean no one should be able to kill me, right? But they do and my KD and Elo has taken such a hit, it's not fun anymore! Bungie, stop matching me with real players! Please match me against noobs where I can go 50-3 again!
Sarcasm
1 AntwortenIt's AIDS. If it's matching me to skilled players, why are most of my team full potatoes? As soon as we have a lead, someone on the other team gets invincible and they lead changes as we can't even kill them with a fire-team with heavies. My K/D has nosedived this Iron Banner and the last few months as the game rewards cheats and poor connections.

2 AntwortenI checked the video... You were dominating anyway. He may appear to be invincible, but he's no "red bar god" and he's probably seeing you bounce all over the place too.

Have I finally found a decent lobby or is everyone else feeling a positive change after the "cannot connect to destiny servers was resolved"?

3 AntwortenSBMM IS AIDS. What a horrible thing to put in a game. Games are supposed to be fun. Remember what "fun" is bungie? Lag isn't fun. Fyi.

1 AntwortenI've came to terms with it. Yes, it is frustrating going against a red bar who is literally invincible. And I'll generally leave after 2 matchup with said redbar, especially if they are putting up ridiculous kills. SBMM does get to sweaty tho.
-
5 AntwortenI really like SBMM. The lag is a slight problem but i dont feel like i face too many laggers. I really like that matches are close and sweaty. It may be an unpopular opinion but just my two cents. I feel like the games would become too unbalanced if it changed to a connection based system. There needs to be some SBMM or low lvl players will get really frustrated and not play, making the crucible even more sweaty cause it would only be good players. The only fix i would implement is dedicated servers but idk if Bungie would do that with Destiny rn, maybe Destiny 2.

7 AntwortenCan we stop calling things 'The Aids' of anything? It's a horrifically disrespectful term to use to a serious condition. Thanks.

3 AntwortenI've recently started playing this game after a hiatus. I like the skill based matchmaking only when it's lag free. It should prioritize connection and then skill. All you scrubs crying about playing "sweaty" the -blam!-? Put on some deodorant and git gud.
