It isn't fair for ps3 user to buy a ps4 to keep on destiny.
I hope this reaches bungie staff in general, for me or ps3 users who can't afford to buy a ps4 so that i can keep playing destiny, because that means that i would have to buy the console + the game + the dlc it would cost a whole lot of money, i feel very dissapointed and sad because it means that my money spended on the ps3 version wasn't enough, so please bungie if you could revise your project once more it would be very apretiated

It isn't fair to current gen console owners that last gen console is holding back their experience . It works both ways . Life isn't fair sooner you learn that the better .

4 AntwortenYou're right. It isn't fair. When you buy a game for a particular console you shouldn't have to buy another console to enjoy the entirety of that game. I understand their point, but, to be honest, Destiny was set up to screw the consumers from the beginning. It was first launched with a lackluster story with at least 3 dlc purchases planned to extend a lackluster story. Then they release Taken King for $40. Forty freakin' dollars!!! That's nearly enough to buy another game. While companies like Bethesda and CD Project Red release their large dlc stories for $15-20. Thankfully they released The Legendary Edition bundle but that was only really due to consumer outcry. And now they're wanting to charge a high price again for what should be the rest of the game. So yes, at the end of this long rant, it's not fair. But Bungie and Activision were never playing fair to start with. Also I'm not hating on Bungie, Destiny, or their awesomely talented designers. But I'm very disappointed in their marketing and pricing strategy to get back revenues on a ridiculously expensive game to make.

Some could argue that it wasn't fair for Destiny to be held back from it's full potential because it was made for last gen as well. Both arguments are correct: It isn't fair. But so what? To be realistic and honest ps4 been out for a few years now. Time to let ps3 go. Can't have destiny 3 or 4 on ps3/4/5 no what I mean.

Not only ps3 users being effected, tho most children do buy PS (no offence to PS users just a fact) so most of the people stuck on ps3 still probably won't upgrade unless your parents say so lol.

I have a question. I have an Xbox one just to let you know, but if you move from last gen to current with the same account as in ps3 to ps4, or Xbox 360 to Xbox one, do you keep your progress? As in characters, etc. It would suck if you couldn't.

It isn't fair to downgrade the quality of the game just to appeal to the 10% on 11 year old equipment. I sympathise with you, but we need Destiny to move foward in gaming not stay in the past on out dated consoles.
