So bungie always wants to stress the competition side of trials so here is a great idea...
For the next trials i.e. Rise of Iron dlc
It should be setup in a tier system for instance 7 separate tiers.
Once you go flawless one time on your account you hit tier 1 and all your future games are against tier 1. When you hit flawless again you go tier 2 and play only fireteams with a tier 2 player. This would go all the way to 7 tiers you know cause bungie loves 7!
Imagine watching the fireteams battle out in tier 7. This also helps the masses with having a legitimate chance of actually reaching the lighthouse with their friends without having to hope for carry from a raffle.
I forgot to add an important point someone pointed out, yes this would reset with every weekly reset just as everything else does ;)
Another note worthy idea to stop the carries from happening with people manipulating the system would be that the fireteam has to have the same card i.e. Same amount of wins and boons applied
I'd also like to add that this could actually solve the SBMM issue too by going to connection based because the tier systems is already taking the SBMM into account

Good idea only because of the people getting carried by streamers or the people that pay to get to the light house by others. If they could fix that then trials doesn't need an overhaul. But I understand of they leave it the way it is. People are making money of streaming and carrying people to the light house.

Yes lets divide the players into several small pools so we get to experience even more lag, there's not enough of it in Destiny....

11 AntwortenIf you're not good enough to hit lighthouse then you shouldn't hit it! Trials is a tournament and either your a winner, or your a loser. Hell they even have bounties out like participation trophies so no one gets their panties in a wad, look how that turned out. I vote people either git gud, or stop messing up this game. The only thing broken is the fact that bungie listens to you little forum bitches who cry about EVERYTHING!!! #NerfTheBitches

2 AntwortenSo you want bungie to create a "easy" lane for you. By filtering out all the good players so by Monday only the scrubs or the people that were too busy over the weekend to go to the lighthouse? Ain't going to happen.
-
1 AntwortenToo many tiers thins the playerbase. I'm good with 1 tier
-
6 AntwortenIf they do this, I'd like the rewards from higher tiers to be significantly better with higher light level and perks
-
11 AntwortenNotice how the only ppl that suggest these types of changes are absolutely trash at trials 😕 Lighthouse is only for the "best of the best" bungo has said this before...
best of the best really means any decent - above average pvp player

https://destinytrialsreport.com/xbox/Flint%20x%20shield/TattooedTurd/SteelyDrake
Just let it burn.

1 AntwortenI think trials match making should be based on l/d so let's say if u have a 4.0 k/d team then the other team should be 4.0 or close to that and same for like 1.0, 2.0 et cetera so nobody will get stomped on but this is just an idea just came up with it ik there r flaws
-
5 AntwortenThat would be amazing make it a little bit more fair for the players who just can't possibly do it and don't have the time to become better players.

Participation badge generation

Terrible idea. Trials is fine the way it is. Give up or get better and keep trying. Simple.
-
no no no. this whole idea is all wrong. 1, if you were in the higher tiers wtf you gonna do if nobody from that tier is playing? 2, how could i play with my lower/higher tier friends? 3 triala takes skill and if you lose you lose and if you win you win. no reason to make it easy for kids that cant win without handicaps. the whole point is to earn it. plain and simple.
-
Trials doesn't need any changes. Players that Moan about not being able to get to the lighthouse need to get a team together, actually play PvP game modes and practise in Elimination. It is not difficult by any means if you work together.
-
It's fine as is, IMO. Year one it was easy as -blam!- to go flawless and used to help carry clan mates with another buddy. This year it's considerably tougher than it was the first year. Although if they made it easier I could probably carry my two brothers... so that would be pretty sweet.

6 AntwortenBearbeitet von THE SARGE 01: 6/27/2016 7:33:49 PMTo be honest, why not just implement a full blown SBMM? Bungie would have to prioritize connection within a certain skill level range.
Wait a minute, isn't that what we already have?
The problem here is that Bungie can't please every single player. The skilled do not want to play other skilled players(at least not every single time). In the other hand, Bungie needs to protect the unskilled fron getting PWNED to the point where they decide to quit the game. Either way, THE SARGE 01 will continue to play. Understanding that I cannot win every match, that Ill noob stomp some, and will get owned some other times. Bottom line is:
Fusion Rifles are too OP please NERF
Bearbeitet von DeeOhhJay: 6/27/2016 7:31:57 PMwouldn't this take the competitive edge out of trials and only benefit scrubs? or am I just high right now?
-
What if I told you that everyone has the same equal chance of going flawless? EVERYONE needs 9-0
-
And when you don't go flawless like 5 times in a row you would get demoted so you'd have a better chance.
-
Would losing demote you?
-
1 AntwortenYeah like bungie is going to listen to a rando
-
Bearbeitet von JonnyBX: 6/27/2016 7:01:43 PMNo. Trials is hard, it's suppose to be. You lot just want an easy ride.
-
Well How would you get to tier 7 if you only have 3 characters I believe it should reset every season
-
Or just keep current system with the exception that players who have reached the lighthouse with a character that week are then matched with other players who have also gone flawless, effectively locking them out of the card system and putting them in the flawless system unless they use a different character.
