Now I know this will seem like a bad idea to people who have played destiny since day one, but I think the old raids should be relevant again. Instead of just bringing back the raid exotics (the necro and the vex) I think they could change the entire raid. Firstly, they would bump up the light requirement. Keeping the current two difficulties unchanged, they would add a new, third difficulty at the light that the Rise of Iron raid would be at. Second is gear. The gear is fine as is with one exception: the ammo modifier. Currently, raid legs (and I think the chest as well) applies an ammo buff to either all special weapons or all heavy weapons. To solve this, simply change ammo buff to what it is now, a specific type of weapon (sniper, sidearm, launcher, etc.). Now the last and possibly hardest to fix thing about the old raids is the weapons. However my solution is simple. My solution would be to remove the elemental damage from the old raid legendaries and leave everything else unchanged. There is the problem that some of these weapons have become exotics (Hammer to spindle, and fatebringer to ace of spades), but I think that bungie is creative enough to make new weapons to replace these. As for the raid exotics, allow them to be infused but leave everything else unchanged. To all of you who have taken the time to read this, I thank you and feel free to state your opinion on this matter.

As a year two player, I was fortunate to have friends who were year one and took me through the old raids. It would be nice if in the course of this next year, along with Rise of Iron, the community received updates to the old raids as we did with Prison of Elders. I do not know what it takes to pull that off on the development side, but with new content coming in, what better time to roll out updated raids as well?

1 AntwortenI want old raids to be relevant again because the new drops are so watered down by Bungie wanting to slow the game down. Nome of the other raids have given us drops that are even remotely close to what we had in VoG, Crota,.or House d Wolves. Another good thing about making older content good again would let people have decent weapons in the crucible and not have to rely on RNGesus to give them a good roll on crumble drops. Crota and VoG had specific weapons that always had the same drop and made them very good choices. They are still good to this day. Just wishful thinking though Nerfs anonymous (Bungie) wouldn't do that. It's common knowledge that VoG is the favorite raid as it is.
