Hello everyone! Vote for your favorite Elder Scrolls race here! I can't put a poll for each individual race due to formatting restrictions, but just leave a message about what specific race is your favorite. There are a few examples in each poll of what races belong there. My favorite race is the Argonians; they have such an interesting, tribal origin that heavily affects their culture to this day.
Here is a complete list of all Elder Scrolls Playable Races, and a quick overview of each race:
Altmer (High Elf)
Description: Golden skinned, tall, natural affinity for magic. Commonly the political rivals of Imperials throughout history. Often stereotyped as haughty mages.
Argonian
Description: Reptilian physicality, amphibious respiratory system, tribal society. Tied to a plant entity known as the Hist. Often stereotyped as pirates and thieves.
Bosmer (Wood Elf)
Description: Short side of middle height, excellent woodsmen and scouts. Semi-tribal society, heavily tied to their homeland forests.
Breton
Description: Elf-mixed bloodline, but with human physicality. Superb magical capabilities and opportunistic thinkers. Often stereotyped as mages or shrewd merchants.
Dunmer (Dark Elf)
Description: Dark skin, red eyes. Harsher features than other elves. Generally nomadic culture, however there are several prominent Dunmer cities and political parties/leaders.
Imperial
Description: Political giants of Tamriel. Among the most civilized of the Tamrielic races. Often superb politicians and disciplined soldiers.
Khajiit
Description: Feline in physicality, often hedonistic in mindset. Tribal/nomadic culture, with some exceptions. Often stereotyped as smugglers, thieves, and drug dealers; often heavily discriminated against.
Nord
Description: Hearty northern people: Civilized colonial culture. Strongly independent people.
Orismer (Orc)
Description: Heavily tribal culture. Blunt, elven features, tusks, sometimes horns instead of eyebrows. Often stereotyped as savages.
Redguard
Description: Dark-skinned, excellent swordsmen and sailors. Culture built around their desert homeland.

I've always liked the beasts lore and look wise, but I normally play as Breton.

I love khajiit. Just because of the lore and breeds. An entire game could be made using the different breeds of khajiit, you know. In TESO, you can auctually ride a khajiit, pictured above.

1 AntwortenDunno why, but Argonians just seem to be my fetish, while I main a Nord or Redguard most of the time. Guess I have some sorta reptile fetish.
