I'm usually a zone capper... one of the best. I took this morning and decided to play like 90% of the other players and just worry about K/D without having a single care or concern about zones.
Well... I lost 12 out of 15 games. This just goes to show you people how valuable a capping player can be. My K/D was phenomenal... but we lost almost every game.
If only players played the objective and stopped being such ego douches, perhaps the feeling of victory may come by more often.
Hard proof now that I carry most of my games when I'm aggressively capping.
You're welcome

Its control not capture its enough when u have A and B zone. How do you control these zones? -u r killing enemies near the zone...
-
It is possible to do both. You don't necessarily have to do one at the expensive of the other. I'm in the top 1% of zones captured and I'm still able to maintain a K/D just under 1.5. Capping zones is great, but you still need people out there killing shit.

This is why aw sucked god damn ass. No one would go into game chat and it wasn't forced, because of that you couldn't yell at your teammates to GET THE FUСKING OBJECTIVE

I haven't checked my stats in a while but I know I captured a lot of zones and defended a lot on Xbox. On psn...I dunno. I started in February so it is hard to tell. But I was basically doing it all. Roaming the map and trying to control the zones. Almost every time I go to assault a flag...the other one gets taken...or I defend a flag with a lot of enemies around...and the other team takes the other flag. Like...WTF teammates? I try and help but...*sigh* It's hard trying to tryhard all the time. I've just stuck to casual play now, too much wasted energy on idiot teammates. Sure I want to win, but not if I am not having fun.

It's like this in EVERY...FPS...GAME. This will never change. Back in my COD days, I'd see people with 3+K/D's talking about how good they are and everyone should get on their level. Their W/L ration was BEYOND garbage, less than 30%. This is still considered "good" by most people's standards. Everyone just wants to killwhore so they can pad their K/D's. Fortunately for me, both my K/D and W/L are terrible so I don't care either way.

Most kids dont know winning actually affects your DTR more than K/D

I love capping 3rd point .. im -blam!-ing pro

3 AntwortenSo true. I always see guys in control with like 20 kills and 3 captures at best. My k/D usually sucks but I have the most captures in the match usually.

1 AntwortenIt depends on the map for me unfortunately. There are only a handful of truly 'symmetrical' maps in destiny, aside from these every other map has a 'good' side. I usually push for that side and then plant my butt there. If we happen to spawn on that side thats where I'll be for the rest of the game. I'm usually afraid that if I move the wonky spawn system will start popping the enemy team right there and my team will be back to square one.

Or maybe it's that everyone has a role and you are actually the egotistical douche for thinking that capping points makes you better than other people. If everyone just stood on cap points you would be getting team wiped every 30 seconds.

2 AntwortenBearbeitet von panzerfaust: 6/24/2016 2:58:24 PMBad design. The bonus of having 2 zones controlled is too weak. You can actually win games while the opposite controlled the zones for more time against more spree's from your side. Spree's are far too rewarding compared to the points awarded by zone control. Bad design....

If you were as good as you claim, you'd have a high K/D as well as getting the zones.

I am top 1% at dying and capping flags

7 AntwortenYou get more points for kills than for caps. Cap while you can but focus on kills. https://www.bungie.net/en/Legend/PGCR?instanceId=5136650778&characterId=2305843009243945595

Bearbeitet von DankZaku: 6/24/2016 1:35:29 PMA good player gets kills while capping zones, not one or the other. Without your account linked you have no "hard proof" other than hiding your stats and recent games from people.

at the beginning of the game if i see 2 people on the first zone im automatically heading for B if im taking B by myself i already know its going to be a long game and my k/d is going to suffer because im usually attacked by 3 players from the other team its hard to win if you dont have support at the zones not to mention the fact that you look like the scrub sitting near the bottom of the stats sheet cause you had 6 caps but a 0.5 k/d

Bullshitting squeaker alert !!!

1 AntwortenThe big streamers in their stacked fairyteams don't cap. Therefore it must not be important. The amount of dipshits playing Clash in Control has been extra ridiculous lately. I wish Bungie would increase the time and score limit for Clash. Maybe then those dipshits would stay the hell out of Control. But we would still have to worry about teammates who think running around and trading zones the entire match is some how a good idea. Capture and DEFEND! WTF?!

i lose 12 out of 15 games regardless of whether or not i am trying to cap zones thanks to SBMM. Good thing i play for fun and not to actually win, because otherwise i would be raging out big time about how stupid that is.
-
The only time that it works to not worry about capturing zones comes when you're in a six man party and you take the two best players that you have and have them only focus on killing the enemy. If the rest of the team aggressively captures zones while those two take down the enemy you cannot be beaten.
-
getting points in control and be just as important as capping zones.
-
You can do both...start by capturing Any two zones and then hangout between the two zones giving support. If you go for the third zone, you are going to lose one of the other zones and flip the spawn. This will also cause enemies to possibly come at you from opposite directions simultaneously, putting your team at a disadvantage.

All games would be better if players knew a damn thing about shooters. Other than target tracking and general combat skill, you need to know positioning. Running around chasing kills just makes the game chaotic.
