Have you met your fireteam IRL?
I've met two amazing people while playing this game and both were on the opposite team. We've built a strong friendship to the point where we talk all day every single day. We're adults and we made a trip to see each other. Best trip I've ever made in my life! There's so much wrong with this game but I just can't stop playing it because of the amazing people I've met through it.

I reunited with a couple of friends that I havent seen in ages while running across the Tower back in the first month of vanilla. Their gamertags are their nickname and lastname which are so rare I had to send them a message like: Is it you guys on Destiny? We have since spent a lot of time playing and hanging out irl. I believe my story is shared by a couple of you.

He was making a cross country road trip with his 2 kids that I have played with as well. I never thought in a million years that someone I met playing video games with online would be staying at my house. We stayed up till 4am drinkin beers and taking turns playing some Clash. It was great.

never have really had a fireteam. i had one IRL friend that played Destiny with me. but he quit during The Dark Below. mostly a lone wolf now.

Yes! In fact our Clan had our first ever Dab Vaders weekend this past 4/20 here in Chicago. About 12 people showed from all over including three of our fellow Female clanmates, so not a total bachelor party. Already planning on Y2 in Austin and Y3 in Denver. Good times had by all.

That would be difficult for my team me. I'm on the west coast while the rest of my team lives on the east coast and with all of us being in high school or just having graduated there is no way we could afford to meet up IRL.

My clan is based around a local saltwater fish store in my town. So the majority of us are local to each other. Since my fire team almost always consists of my clan, yeah, I've met most irl. There are a few I haven't had the chance to meet though.

Half of us yes. Its a 50/50 of Amercians and Canadians. Some of us are in the works of planning meet ups, we even double check if our travel plans means we may cross paths. Other than that, we went further than PSN and have on social media, so at least we all have faces to names, or better yet, faces to voices.
