Grasp of Malok is NOT overpowered
Grasp of Malok is not overpowered. Here is why. The grasp of Malok is a pulse rifle. Pulse rifle intended design was to be optimal for medium range and useable by someone with better thumbs then all you complainers at close and longer ranges. The only reason you think it's overpowered is because everyone has one. Not one person put up a post before omnigul was the nightfall saying it was overpowered. [b]NOT ONE -blam!-ING PERSON[/b]. You people are about literally ruin one of the rarest guns in the game because your ass has shitty gun skills. Please shut the -blam!- up. And [b]GIT GUD[/b].
Edit: Yes I know it's now rare now, but before this week it was completely rare to see

Farmed omnigul for an hour last night, btw it's almost laughable how easy it is to farm her even if solar burn wasn't on, and got 5 grasps. No God rolls but a couple decent ones. Honestly I think I like my hawksaw better. The grasp is nice but I feel like it takes up a ton of real estate on the screen.

It's the overpowered versus "overused" battle all over again. This gun isn't overpowered to the average blueberrian, however it's overwhelming presence now does make it seem all OP and shit. But alas since the blueberries control the forums the gun will inevitably be nerfed and more than likely the hawksaw arc. as well.

1 AntwortenAegis of the Reef, Nirwen's and Hawksaw, though different archytypes, seem better to me. NOBODY ever got excited by this gun when it was oversoul edict. GoM has only 92% stability MAX. It has to be a near perfect roll to be competitive in this hellhole called crucible.

1 AntwortenI spent countless hours farming for a perfect roll. I didn't get it... I got a few very good rolls but not the one I was searching for. After farming I decided to play one game of crucible and got a spare change with counterbalance, braced frame, and glass half full.

The damage drop off is noticeable making it 22 to the head and guaranteed 4 or 5 burst outside its effective range. I farmed it like crazy and got a amazing roll in the final hours of the farm. I had so many near miss God rolls. Got headseeker, glass half twice with amazing scopes and no stabilty. I have one I can use on a variety of maps. Perfect balance when I need that little bit of range and an option for hand laid stock if needed. I have more kills with pulses than any gun in the crucible. I loved the timepiece but feel like the stabilty Is annoying and the arc shots throw off my aim sometimes plus the design can block my view slightly. Been chasing a god tier grasp for a long time. I love pulses and finally have one I feel comfortable with after they butchered my allfate. And yes getting the roll that I considered god tier took a lot of grinding so I doubt EVERYONE has god rolls.

I grinded for it for a bit. I got a couple useable rolls, nothing spectacular. My reasoning for getting it, was more as a collector, rather than thinking it was going to make me a PvP God. It's a decent gun, but not something I'd use in crucible. I prefer my suros-dis 43 with full auto for that.

Someone way smarter than I did the math on Reddit, kudos to /u/taodyn. https://www.reddit.com/r/DestinyTheGame/comments/4p47n6/no_not_everyone_has_a_god_roll_grasp/ That's a 2 % chance people farming the grasp received their desired competitive roll. I only got two decent ones, and a lot of infusion fuel. With the right perks the grasp is probably the best primary in the game right now but I've seen a lot of Guardians running around with mediocre ones. In the long term I don't see gom shaking up the meta anytime soon.

I constantly out gun people since they started raining all over the crucible with my Red Death but as I said that's just me. People flock to one weapon and I simply switch to something else I know can compete. Now I will be honest here that doctrine when it first appeared way back when.. was absurd, range wise not damage. It had nothing and was killing from ridiculous distance. Lol.

5 AntwortenActually it is kind of overpowered but went unnoticed because it was hard to get and get with a decent roll. I got my first one the 2ND or 3rd time I ran heroic omnigul and it shits on mostly any gun at medium range. It gives you, especially since the most recent update, a great chance at out gunning a Dop and is decent at countering Mida. Being able to beat both of those guns does make it OP considering one was Meta and one was runner up. You're just in denial because a great gun became easy as -blam!- to get and with a good roll and you don't want it to get nerfed. Just like DoP and mida users for so long.

Months ago YouTubers were talking about how it was the best pulse because it has the shortest ttk in the game believe me this is a gun I've been playing with for much longer then a week and never got a good roll but it still is good. And it's amazing close quarters if your aim is good. It's ttk is crazy fast and with "god rolls" it can get some nasty range too. It's extremely to the level of dop. It's one of the strongest weapons in pvp currently

You must not have a god roll grasp... If you do, load it to one of your characters. Tons of people do now. The grasp is ridiculously op with God perks! Oas red dot, counter balance, hand laid stock, and your last choice of perk ( whatever you like ) is NUTS!!!!!!!---- Sorry man, you're so wrong... Respectfully speaking.

8 AntwortenIt's the easiest thing to try for a god roll on or at least a damn good roll so ppl will farm the hell out of it to try get that edge in PvP. It will be nerfed and then the community will move onto the next best PvP gun. It's been this was since day one and it'll be this way till the end of destiny.
