Is this just a way to find out when people will give up? Is it just another step in the grand social experiment known as Destiny?
CoE made harder. People complaining about it all over the place. Some people seem to like it, but they are definitely the minority.
Modifiers in strikes. Same thing: a few people seem to like it, but most do not.
I think it's safe to say that most guardians are not hard core players. They want an enjoyable experience playing a video game. Instead, Bungie "balances" and makes the game harder, less fun, and more frustrating.
It's as if they are trying to get rid of the weaker, more casual players. I believe this is because the only players that bungie listens to are the hard core, live in mom's basement, no life's who literally play video games for a living.
I've written it before and I'll write it again. I believe bungie wants destiny to achieve the same status as Halo in competitive multiplayer. It's like jon needs to prove he's right. (Too bad the crucible just plain sucks ass, huh jon?)
But then, why make it harder in PvE?
Because the light system is too quick now. Guardians are hitting 335 all over! They are reaching max power, and probably faster than lord weisnewski wanted.
JW: "Slow down, boys and girls. You're supposed to take longer to get to full power. You're supposed to take until the next dlc drops. That will keep you happy. You're supposed to be happy. Why aren't you happy? The game is perfect. It's my incredible creation and it's perfect! No one will ever be able to convince me otherwise! Now, play the game! Play it! More! MORE! Oh, look at those numbers climb!! Everyone loves MY GAME!! The numbers PROVE IT!! ... Oh, are you still here? Why aren't you playing my PERFECT GAME?!"

6 AntwortenThere will never be a competitive Destiny PvP scene, simple because there is not enough balance in the game to achieve that. There are constantly shifting goalposts, month to month with new metas and bungie constantly re-tooling sub classes make it too inconsistent. Also it boring to watch PvP tournaments that have maps added once per year. Meta primary + sniper + same maps = boring to watch. How do you think that the Red Bull thing never got off the ground. Its a PvE game that has a PvP add on.
