Patrol Changes due to story
So, when the next DLC comes out will the Taken go away? I mean we lost Hive on Earth Patrol, No more Wolves....I can't remember the last time I shot a Roving Pike....I understand keeping with the story but I really miss these things, I started a new profile the other day for the hell of it, I really miss all the stuff they have taken out of the game.

I don't mind the changes. Each DLC changes the world a little and feels unique. I think it keeps things interesting. There are always remnants of the old stuff, like Urzok or the Wolves on Mars. The next DLC will cover the Cosmodrome in snow. I'm excited to see that.

I hope all Taken disappear for good. I hate them and I want them all gone forever.

If this were English class and they asked me to remove one sentence that was irrelevant to the main idea, I would take away the part where you said you made a new character. What was the point?

I really wish they rotated on a weekly basis all having higher chances of dropping sublime or legendary engrams

1 AntwortenThey'll replace the taken with something different. They always do. Of the three things so far, the wolf drop ships and the hidden chest were the best.

Taken will be gone. The Cosmodrome has come over all, Scottish, and has been covered in snow.

Pikes only appear in the forgotten shore on earth, and the cinders on venus I havent seen a heavy pike since HoW tho

1 AntwortenI'd rather them incorporate all 3 of them into Patrol but not have them despawn the current enemies, which is why everyone hated the Taken.

To be fair, they might still show up but remember that there will be a new patrol on Earth. The old one i believe will stay the way it is and the new one to be with the new enemy and new look.

2 AntwortenRoving Pikes aren't HoW related. I believe that event only exists in Forgotten Shore on Earth and Archer's Line on the Moon. They've been in the game since alpha.

That's what is so special this game, u get to play through the story live! The universe will change as the story unravels over the years. It's pretty exciting to be able to witness it. Some people get lost in the grind and lose sight of that. Feels like an experience that will be talked about in future gaming.

3 AntwortenThe roving Pike's are still in the game. I saw one the other day. But yeah they'll get rid of the Taken invasions when RoI comes out. I don't know what they'll replace it with, but it'll probably be similar.

BoC and prowling wolves are gone. However roving bands of pikes still happen. Got one at the forgotten shore a few days ago

I really hope so. But I don't think it'll happen because some quests require you to go to certain areas on each planet to do those taken reoccurrences. Shitty, I know

IMO I don't think the taken will go away. There may be less of them. I feel like the new patrol area will have most of the action. But they do tend to change things up with every release so idk. Also, TTK was released as a full game and ROI requires TTK to play.
