Alright everyone. This was a bit of an angry post after a couple days of getting owned by lag and very good players who are above my skill level, while my teammates are struggling to keep up. I won't delete it, but it did get WAY more a attention than I ever expected. What I should have probably said was "Crucible is a mess since the patch and I don't agree with many of the subclass changes" and kept it at that. But maybe Bungie will now see this and know that many of us are having issues and it's not worth the headache to continue. Personally, I'm not going to do crucible until I hear it's been fixed or until RoI comes out. It's pretty awful. I will, however still do trials because that is usually lag free for me.
--------------------------------------------------
I. Am. Done.
I have tried. I have tried so hard. I've wanted to believe. I've played your game for so many hours and I've had so much fun and so much un-fun it's been a crazy 2 years online.
But the state of things after this recent patch is awful. You've changed things unnecessarily. You've taken away people's favorite stuff. You've created the worst lag in the history of this game (for me anyway). For the past couple nights I've played crucible. And it is awful. The matchmaking is awful. You give me a teammate that runs into the enemy with his mouth open and the opposite team is twitch streamers and kids with reflexes better than Christ himself.
This is pathetic. You get on twitch and you say (per Deej) 'Well, people are still playing our game much to our surprise' but they won't be playing it in this condition. What's the point? There's nothing to do other than crucible. And it has been ruined.
All you sweaty kids can say whatever you want. This forum is the Plaguelands of cheating try hards. This post is for Bungie to see if they do and maybe think about what they've done to their product which is absolute garbage at this point.
Good night.

2 AntwortenI think the crucible is fine. All you need is a Doctrine of Passing, (soon to be nerfed) and a sniper rifle.

6 AntwortenYou're one person... nobody cares if "you are done". Find a different hobby and quit whining.

yay 1 less b*tch
-
You're about 3 or 4 weapon "balance" patches behind anybody with a sane mind.

The term "try hard" is ridiculous. If I think winning is fun, of course I'm going to try to win. Improve or be left at the bottom of the scoreboard. Play in fireteams, and avoid solo queuing. That aside, I agree that this patch did some pretty dumb things. No nerfs were needed whatsoever with Bladedancers (except Skip grenades) and Gunslingers. I feel that Bungie is pretty out of touch with PvP. As for content being dry, that's just part of the cycle. We've gone through this three times before, so suck it up a fourth time and wait for September.

I don't hate the game as much as this guy, but this patch seems to have unknowingly bought more red bar gods
-
Too bad you obviously left before you became legend.....did not even get out of tween ranting stage.....
-
I like how the patched so much bullshit but a titan still has like 10 sec to active fist of panic after i hit him with arc blade
-
What i get out of this post is that you keep losing to "try hards" and that gets you very salty. Gg Bungie.
-
Sounds like someone needs his bottle!
-
Quit stealing your neighbors Internet and then your lag should be resolved
-
It's better now than it has been since TTK dropped. Hand cannons actually work now, and DoP doesn't quite melt you anymore. The lag is no worse than it was before. The only real problem is the grasp of Malok, which I'm honestly surprised they didn't do anything about in the patch. It's worse than doctrine was, and it's easy as hell to get this week.

Just play some other games like gta or Halo for a bit. They made me appreciate Destiny just a tad bit more
-
9 AntwortenJust get better. Once you're a top crucible player like me the you can win with anything
-
7 AntwortenBungie should change their motto from "become legend" to "become balanced" or better yet "get nerfed"
-
Bungie's motto,"Become legend...and become progressively weaker as the games' lifespan increases"
-
Crucible was well ruined before this patch, but point taken.
-
Congratulations you officially spend way too much time on the forums

2 AntwortenFunny part is everyone "white-knighting" the Crucible PvP are mostly the ones Bungie relies on when they nerf anything; -shotgun package -fusion rifles -sniper rifles -supers -nades Yet they never go ahead and say "hey this sh*t is legitimately broken and has been since it's release into the game and has seen little to no positive development" and typical culprits are matchmaking and lag in ToO. People will continue to go "oh yea whatever the game is working as intended" and that I find ironic because there are dozens of times the game hasn't worked as intended and no one complains until its "fixed" [just like the recent rocket launcher and clown cartridge fiasco]. The first thing to the "naysayers" is that lag exists in this game; whether YOU DO NOT experience it, it negates the fact that IT EXISTS. Likewise it tends to be more of a server-side issue often times with how companies run these servers. If anyone players MMO's there are other companies out there that explain the dynamics of how hardware and server types generate stress on the hardware and result in experienced lag by the user. It's also why matches don't have as many people in Destiny but other FPS games had little issue utilizing matches with 5x to 15x the player size than Destiny. While there is a connection element to lag as well and also an aspect of intention [because it happens in Iron Banner more often than not with the intentional lag] hardware on Bungie's end and tools utilized to detect lag-switching is their responsibility. Thus the "I experienced nothing and felt fine" is like climate naysayers saying "it was the coldest winter in years how is it possible the planet is undergoing warming with cold winters" type of question: your personal experience and view doesn't reflect the massive visual recordings that people post just on a youtube of lagswitchers let alone the data out there of people showing how to lag switch. Matchmaking is also ridiculously not a finished product and this is more visible in Iron Banner where rather than making the code limit matches of 4 fireteams and more to other fireteams of 4 and more it still gives preference to individual skill level and relies on everyone on a team using a headset even if they're not on a fireteam and ignores clans that have played with each other versus players just grouped up for a singular event. This is a problem that has always plagued EVERY FPS nearly and the fact that Destiny doesn't seem to even have a good code for something as basic as fireteam matchmaking is pretty noobish on the developer part because games from 10 years ago had this issue so not anticipating a problem for this game genre that old is pretty bad planning from the get-go. And for those who continue to insist that Crucible and PvP is working as intended, the only problem that no one can still raise a viable argument about why PvP is failing is simply it's still fudging and will continue to fudge with PvE because even though the 2 DO NOT work the same way they are treated THE SAME WAY which is just hysterically stupid and dumb of a strategy. Do I need to go over player decline, decreased metacritic scores, viewer scores, critic reviews, increased player complaint, loss of player retention or any other actual data to paint the view that Destiny has issues and the naysayers, white-knighters and Bungie itself are helping to make this issue grow. And for the record the difference between a "critical view" and a "whiner" is that one actually offers critical advice for the improvement of a product while the latter just makes an emotional, subjective jest and too often the community that constantly agrees and defends Bungie groups both on the same table without really sorting out what can actually be useful to their product and it's advancement. That part is the shame and sad thing about Destiny as a product and Bungie as a studio and don't forget that the biggest so-called whine when Destiny came out was "that's it?" for the content because really, we all wondered why it was one and done soo fast. ...now come the white-knight responses on PvP/Crucible LOL!

FREEZE ALL LAGGER MOVEMENT. As soon as lag is detected then the player's movement speed should be set to 0. That way they can't glitch around the screen because currently these laggers have blink with a tank class with that lag. I guess maybe Bungie employees don't experience this lagging in their sandbox.

2 AntwortenI feel like almost nothing has changed after the patch, is it just me?

Then leave. Don't need a post to describe you leaving. Blame the community for the fixes because honestly it's their fault.

Yet another "im tired" post.

3 AntwortenI feel the same. I have gone through fun load outs too and it's just not that fun when you have to carry. I find that I only play now when my friends are on because the game punishes you for being good at the crucible. I'm not the best but I'm certainly above average. I find that when my friends are on (who are not that great at crucible) I have the best time because when we go into a control match or something we will face ppl more there skill level than mine and let me tell you it feels so good to not have a relaxing crucible experience. It feels like year 1 crucible. If I'm by myself it's either to solo nightfall or rumble cuz any team based game you just get fücked. other alternative is overwatch. It's such a relaxing game to me.
