Congratulations Bungie. You Have Officially Ruined Crucible
Alright everyone. This was a bit of an angry post after a couple days of getting owned by lag and very good players who are above my skill level, while my teammates are struggling to keep up. I won't delete it, but it did get WAY more a attention than I ever expected. What I should have probably said was "Crucible is a mess since the patch and I don't agree with many of the subclass changes" and kept it at that. But maybe Bungie will now see this and know that many of us are having issues and it's not worth the headache to continue. Personally, I'm not going to do crucible until I hear it's been fixed or until RoI comes out. It's pretty awful. I will, however still do trials because that is usually lag free for me.

I have tried. I have tried so hard. I've wanted to believe. I've played your game for so many hours and I've had so much fun and so much un-fun it's been a crazy 2 years online.
But the state of things after this recent patch is awful. You've changed things unnecessarily. You've taken away people's favorite stuff. You've created the worst lag in the history of this game (for me anyway). For the past couple nights I've played crucible. And it is awful. The matchmaking is awful. You give me a teammate that runs into the enemy with his mouth open and the opposite team is twitch streamers and kids with reflexes better than Christ himself.
This is pathetic. You get on twitch and you say (per Deej) 'Well, people are still playing our game much to our surprise' but they won't be playing it in this condition. What's the point? There's nothing to do other than crucible. And it has been ruined.
All you sweaty kids can say whatever you want. This forum is the Plaguelands of cheating try hards. This post is for Bungie to see if they do and maybe think about what they've done to their product which is absolute garbage at this point.

The weapon / supers nerf didn't bother me. The thing that bothers me was in the crucible day 1 (and Bungie still hasn't addressed it). LAG..... There is always at least two red bar Cowboys in a lobby that seem to run in every wall but miraculously pop on your screen at the last minute. If Bungie truly wanted to focus on PvP, then they would make the gameplay smoother. Who cares about nerfs and buffs. That crap shouldn't bother anyone. If you're good, then you'll still get your kills. But lag is about as annoying as drinking skunky beer.

3 AntwortenI agree the crucible is in a bad place. But it's just time to adapt to the new "era" if you will. All the nerfs that went live a few days ago were hard to swallow for some. Now it's just time to switch up your skill trees and load outs. Do the best you can with what you have. Happy hunting, guardian.

I was having trouble in crucible so I took a break. It's reasonable advice. You don't have to play everyday or every weekend. Try another game.

You are 100% correct with the present state of the game. Destiny is FUBAR since the Tuesday update. The game is now less FUN to play on many levels. 3 months before new content and Bungie goes and does this? Wow, just wow is all I can say. Just wait until Iron Banner. It wouldn't surprise me if "suddenly" it's now broken(again) as well.

Destiny is the laggiest game I have ever played, been gaming since the 80s. Used to think gears of war was bad, that was in 2006, yet 10 years later we still deal with the same shit.

11 Antworten"Sweaties" and "Try Hards." Neither phrase should exist. They were invented by someone who was tired of being killed by a particular weapon or ability. Here's how I see it. If the MIDA, 1,000 Yarder, and Party Crasher are killing you all the time, guess what? It's probably because the stats are better. Everyone has the same chances of acquiring said weapons. If you start using MIDA and your kills go up good for you. If you're still getting killed, then you need to practice. Every single FPS out there has weapons that are better than others, but you also need skill to be good. You aren't going to "beat Bungie" by refusing to use the current meta because everyone else is using it. In Year 1 we weren't crying about the SUROS, Vex, and Thorn killing everything. We either got better with the weapon we had (exotics were harder to obtain in Y1 outside Xur) or tried to obtain said weapons. Everyone playing Destiny is a Try Hard, a Sweaty, and needs to "get gud." Stop bashing people that use weapons Bungie made better. Use the same weapons yourself and let skill decide who wins. One final note. My eight year old daughter is a big fan of Crucible, but struggles. I told her that whenever she dies to write down the weapon that killed her. After a while she noticed the same weapons, so she started trying to obtain them. Now she has better weapons and STILL struggles in Crucible, to which I replied... practice...

they only thing i hate is snipers bungie needs to increase the flinch on snipers when there being shot at besides that i don't mind pvp atm

I don't have any problems with the subclasses, weapons, nerf or buff! But -blam!-! It been lagging worst and the match making is ridiculous!

16 AntwortenFor different reasons I think the PvP dies on Tuesday. Every gun (I don't have GoM though) just seems mediocre now. I have no affinity with any of them. I used to like Hawkmoon, it got ruined. I like TLW, it has been ruined. I liked Shadow Price, Suros Regime and they got ruined. I like Monte Carlo and Doctrine, they have been ruined. I liked Mida, it has been ruined I liked my Nirwen's Mercy. It got ruined. Bungie calls it balancing. Well good job Bungie, you've done it, every gun I have tried since the patch, is dull, uninspiring, mediocre and -blam!-ing beige. You have balanced it, it is all dull. I have been trying to figure out how a gun that needed a 0.4% buff to be viable now needed a 6% nerf to be viable and couldn't work it out. 15 AntwortenPvP is the most balanced it's ever been. No, you can't roll out of every gunfight you're losing. No, you can't burn someone to death just because you're going to lose a gun fight. And no, you can't TG yourself across the map just because you're going to lose a gunfight. No one knows you and no one will miss you when you're gone. So bye, see ya in September :)
