But they stick to walls, which is logical. Continuing that, they should also stick to guardians by the same ability (magnetism, suction, whatever) that they use to stick to walls. Game play and balance aside, there's no reason they shouldn't stick to players

I don't hardly ever play hunter and this change was just stupid. If it's truly a 'trap' mine then in order to trap people there should be no visible beacon.

1 AntwortenI slapped it backside and rode her till the cows came home, Johnny said "look at that!" Hand it to the peach pie im holdin on this here meat stick, oh boy my ole lady gonna see that chicken roostering like a albino creampuff.

They should trip

3 AntwortenNo one moaned about it for TWO YEARS! Now Bungie says they shouldn't stick and people like you come out with shit like this... Utter bollocks.
-
Like you just now have the idea to make this post. Funny you never made it weeks ago or a month ago if it was so obvious

5 AntwortenIt's depressing to know that many of you can't understand that you can't kill someone by running at them with your shoulder. Smh
-
9 AntwortenIn my opinion they were the only fair sticky grenade. Took either a lot of skill or a lot of luck to actually stick someone. I have no idea why they took stickiness off of them. It doesn't make them significantly less powerful, but it does make them significantly less fun to use.
-
1 AntwortenSo are you just following Bungie's prescribed view or have you held this view prior? If you did I'm sure you could point us the the forum threads you made highlighting why tripmines shouldn't stick.
-
1 AntwortenIt's cool. They're still fun to use. I just tossed one at a warlock. It hit him, armed itself, bounced off and hit his partner next to him, then bounced back toward the warlock and still took em both out. Happy days are here again.

"...that sticks to surfaces..." I guess guardians are ghosts now? I always thought we were zombies, but okay.
-
You haven't explained your side at all, just saying I can't understand and then not giving me an argument for why hasn't really solved any problems has it? In my very humble opinion, trip mines stick on any surface at any angle, why wouldnt a guardians armour be included in that? It doesn't make sense.
-
It sticks to anything so why not enemies ? Logic pls
-
I understand that theoretically they shouldn't stick. My thing is that Bungie stated that they were never designed with sticking in mind. If this is the case then why in the -blam!- did it take them 2 years to fix it? Bungie does some fishy stuff.

1 Antwortenone day Deej was walking around the office one day using a trip mine as an attachable penis, luke smith walked in and saw deej's was bigger, he then said trip mines should not stick to people, deejs fell off.
-
10 AntwortenI have never heard of a trip mine that gives away its position with a bright blinking beacon. That kind of defeats the purpose of it being a mine, dont you think? Ugh....
-
I agree, the idea of a trip mine sticking to a person is a bit strange, but bungie using that as their excuse for changing it, when it has been like that for almost 2 years, is stupid. Thats not some obscure bug thats hard to track down, it was the main reason almost every gunslinger used it, to have a ohk grenade that sticks to the enemy. Not because its a well hidden trap, its as easy to see as a grenade that spews out lightning.

Tht update made me sad to the extreme I was butt hurt dude I love sticking tripmines to some carless person and yelling "unicorn" that's when my friend oh bother sticking it to people wasn't broken it required skill or at least a little BH it of accuracy
-
Doesn't Bother me, I stick them to walls anyway. I've gotten so many double kills doing that.
-
Whyd we get a medal for it for 2 Years then? Oh right, because it was meant to be but scrubs will complain about everything

Space magic

3 AntwortenIt's depressing how you don't get that sticking someone with a trip mine was it's only redeemable feature.
-
6 AntwortenIf trip mines stick to walls they should stick to guardians.
-
Bearbeitet von Jio: 6/16/2016 11:51:07 PMIf they did stick to a Guardian, they shouldn't have detonated immediately because of it stuck to you, you can't actually trip the mine unless someone walks in front of the light. It would detonate eventually though.
Urgh
Agreed. Im glad they are nerfed.
