Guns have caused nothing but death and destruction. America as a whole would be better of without them.
How would you feel about this situation if a loved one was injured or killed in a gun Incident???
If a baby runs around with scissors we take away the scissors. Why does this same logic not work with guns??
Edit: I stated my opinion respectfuly and I expect you to do the same.
Edit:: I don't remember ever hearing about a mass stabbing or car crash killing 50 human beings. So Please dont use the people will kill people without guns argument.
Edit::: the majority of mass shooting are not criminals. They got their guns legally and shot a bunch of people.
Edit:::: I am not talking about illegal guns and gang violence specifically. Criminals will still find ways to get guns but none of the mass shooter have had criminal records.
Edit::::: the argument that guns are needed to protect me because I can shoot someone that is going to shoot me will only lead to you getting shot faster. If someone had a gun out you would not be able to get yours and shoot them before they see you and shoot you in the spot.

1 AntwortenU do realize we banned alcohol nation wide and guess what happened… gangs started up and alcohol was distributed illegally, why would banning guns b any different? Here's ur answer it wouldn't. By banning guns u r taking them out of law abiding citizens and making it easier for a shooter to shoot up a place. If someone is wanting to kill people they r going to get the guns no matter how they acquire them. I do think some gun control is in order though, it's extremely easy to get a gun and it should b harder. Did u also knows guns were banned in Washington D.C. at one time and there were mass shootings right after the law was passed, do some research please

The 2nd amendment stands to protect from threats both DOMESTIC and foreign and PREVENT GOVERNMENT ATROCITIES. While this wasn't the main idea in mind when the bill of rights was signed, it has more need than just a tool for hunting. Dont get me wrong, there have been an alarming number of shootings in the past few years, but there is a black market for that kind of thing. Too think you could ever get every gun off this streets is ignorant, and then we have a country were law abiding citizens have no means to protect themselves and criminals have access to fire arms. My advice, get a gun yourself and hope you never need to use it. Much less people die on average when a civilian stops an attacker than law enforcement due to the amount of civilians that carry.

3 AntwortenDoctors kill more people than guns. So we should probably make Doctors illegal too.

Death can be sad... but is perfectly natural ... You have the right to kill at your leisure; however humans have the right to punish you... We need to remember that precrime conviction doesn't work... Freedom isn't safe that's why humans die for it... Humans are like water and will flow through the path of least resistance; crushing diamonds if that is the only path... We should not be contained, it will inevitably lead to an overflow or destruction of the vessle...

1 Antwortenalso think, hmm if the guy had only a revolver, chances r he couldnt have killed those people. ban assault rifles not weaker guns.
...a casual loop within this toggler's mechanism suggests that the toggling process somehow binds space and time into...
Actually no most shootings the guns were aquire illegally. 13000 deaths last year by guns the majority were suicide and accidents. 3 million saved by guns. Also the point of the 2nd ammendment is to keep a balance between government and the people. Your opinion is idiotic to say the least

7 AntwortenBearbeitet von BlaqSpiral: 6/21/2016 9:37:40 PMI'll put my retort like this... Guns helped win us this country and have been used to protect it a multitude of times. Also, what do mass shootings have to do with me owning a gun?

10 AntwortenYeah ban vehicles next.

Bearbeitet von Oak_Khan: 6/21/2016 3:16:25 PMNah dude. There are millions of guns, if the problem was with guns making people go crazy then it would be more obvious. They need to just enforce gun contol laws more. I lived in a 3rd world country before, people with guns there are like gods. You have criminals Rob entire neighborhoods in one night. I live in Texas now and if you love your life you wouldn't even try breaking into someone's home

You'll never take my finger pistols away! Pew! Pew! Pew!

25 AntwortenBearbeitet von BlackMormon: 6/21/2016 3:06:57 AMShermanmax. Seriously. Without googling it. How many lives do guns save in the USA each year? Ever even consider it? It might surprise you.

Bearbeitet von BlackMormon: 6/21/2016 3:01:48 AMMaking them illegal only stops honest people from getting them. It would also make criminals out of all the gun owners, like me, who wouldn't EVER give up our guns. There is no body count, to me, that outweighs the people right to be armed. P.S. My guns have never harmed anyone, not since I've owned them, and has stopped an attack on me at my home.

2 AntwortenNo, my family hunt every year for their meat, I would like to keep hunting rifles but semi automatic weapons should definitely be more restricted
-
1 AntwortenYou are a special kind of stupid if you think restricting or enacting gun laws will stop "criminals" from obtaining them and using them to cause harm when a majority of people of the United State's have weapons ,and the areas that have open carry have less mass shootings? Look at what our founding father's wrote "we have a right to bear arms". Should we take away freedom of speech because "words hurt" while we're at it?

Ahem... Guns are what also made this country.
