Hunters are PISSED.
Sign here if you are a hunter main and have [b][i][u]ever[/u][/i][/b] one shot someone with a throwing knife. Oh but shoulder charge is A Okay.
I'm a hunter main since beta and I don't think I've [b][i][u]ever[/u][/i][/b] one shot someone with a knife.

1 AntwortenFrequently - did 3 in a row one game. Throwing knives and tripmine multi kills were my speciality, have my Hunter set up specifically for them. Crap with gg and shooting in general so this latest update has left me severely damaged. Am going into crucible just for laughs now - feel I'm letting the team down, but hey, that's what eveyone wanted, right?

I've never "one shot" someone with a throwing knife... But I'm not proud of of how I used them a while back when Monte Carlo was a good AR. (Before the auto range nerf.) Needless to say I don't feel the nerf is hurting me in any real way. Just kinda sucks I guess.

7 AntwortenI have never ohk with a knife without having to first plug em with a round or 2. Even with the DoT and a headshot. Another nerf that no one asked for. My gunslinger build revolved around tripmine sticks, competitive throwing knife damage, and using my Lord High Fixer (with Sureshot IS, Rangefinder, Rifled Barrel, and Hidden Hand). Which have all been nerfed so far into Oblivion that my only chance to survive the Crucible now would be to return with an Elder Scroll. I'm not an elitist pvper, not even close. But I say this from the bottom of my heart and with as much conviction as I can muster. Fvck you BungleVi$ion... [spoiler]Fvck you...[/spoiler]

I'm not pissed, just shocked that they nerfed blade dancer again. Also that trip mines took a hit; now it's a trap that any armor archetype can walk through as if nothing happened.

As pissed as I am that I can't stick trip mines to shoulder charging Titans; I am confident that we as hunters will come up with another way to piss off the rest of the community. I, for one, will be tweaking my bladedancer build to find the perfect way to really piss people off Also, since they nerfed trip mines; shouldn't the sealed ahamkaras grasps just give us an extra grenade charge instead of only applying to trip mines?

Yep now there is only one attachable grenade in blade dancer. Blade dancer is not an alternative for attachable grenades. Why mess with the weakest class. PVP is not even fun anymore. Increase the duration of the trip mine at least and adjust it flight path. Man this update sucks. Hunters have to grind whenever we go after vanguard bounties. Three shots with a handgun while titans throw for days. Or four quick strikes with a blade while wizards float on lightning for 40 seconds. I don't see balance when a super is consistently overpower by other supers in PVP this sucks for hunters the game should just have two classes

i was a little tilted when the update first came out, but now I'm okay with it and realize that these will only make us better in the long run. Plus the pve damage boosts are fantastic.

27 AntwortenThrowing Knife was instantly usable, had a very high aim assist stat and could be used at practically any time. Shoulder Charge requires 3.17 seconds of sprinting to ramp up, and even then has so much counterplay to it that most long-time Titan mains (including myself, since Beta) don't even use it.

If you've never one shot someone with a knife then why would you care about a very minor damage reducing? You'll never see a difference. [spoiler]Whiny ass hunters...[/spoiler]

3 AntwortenShoulder charge is ok. Not many know this but it had its base damage reduced 30% in vanilla.

I never have but the nerfs aren't bad. If no one was getting OHKO anyway then why does it matter? And they took away trip sticking which is a minor inconvenience. The smoke thing sucks but whatever, it was the most whined about thing since MIDA and now bungies nerfing things for being annoying. Annoying to who? Idk, I don't think they play their own game online too much.

I've been a hunter since I started playing, and while I don't play Destiny a lot anymore, I'm perfectly fine with this update.

Not a hunter main, but I still get a fair amount of hunter time in. The tripmine/throwing knife nerf is complete mega deluxe el garbo.

So let me get this straight Bungie nerfed a evasion move that ALREADY had a cool down of 2 then 8 seconds, now to one then 3 seconds, really, one of the few useful tools.

I was once one shot by a throwing knife body shot while playing as a max armor titan. I think it was a glitch or lag though.

12 AntwortenFor those saying it is okay: you are the passive hard scopers that sit in the back of the map. These nerfs really hurt Hunter mobility which is what the class was all about in the first place.

Maining a Hunter Gunslinger wasn't the top of subclasses I used for crucible. I never knew you could one shot with a throwing knife. Never have. And I have never been one shot with it. [spoiler]I just want my ShadeStep back[/spoiler]
