Screw Gally... I want Icebreaker!
Today I pulled my Icebreaker out of my vault for the first time since the start of the taken king. I played a few matches of crucible and all of the year 1 nostalgia just came back. Sign here if you want the Icebreaker in Rise of Iron too.
EDIT: I hope someone from Bungie likes the Icebreaker as much as most of us do.

And to the people saying that it would be OP in trials: When you die the ammo count is reset. Therefore if you die you will struggle after being revived. Also each round the ammo resets.
EDIT: KPoppin says - Having the gun be brought up to Year 2 values would have no effect on PvP. You can still use Icebreaker in PvP right now and it for sure isn't "dominating" right now. Worried about Trials? Don't. Icebreaker has an extremely long scope which is even longer now due to the nerf on snipers. Also, the increased the recoil (which was already crazy) So now you have a crazy long scope with insane amounts of recoil, and no unflinching. So...unless players have no idea how to not stand still in the middle of a sniping lane, i think everyone will be fine.
Edit: Just tried it out in trials. It is still effective now so why not bring it forward. It can even rez snipe.

With how open the Plaguelands seem to be, the last thing they probably want is people perched on a ledge, picking off enemies from afar. I would definitely love to have a new one, though. Iron Icebreaker sounds great, and [i]it is[/i] probably the second most iconic weapon in the game.

1 AntwortenThey will bring back icebreaker, but after gally. They will do that to make sure they keep there players by making them wait for icebreaker to come. It'd be nice if they brought icebreaker at the same time as Gally, because chances are that a bunch of people will be using gally and then get bored of it

I really really hope they make gjally pre nerf gjally, maybe not for the iron gjally, but for sure for the quest one because what made gjally so sought after was how good it was if its the nerfed version it would instantly end how sought after it was

Yeah I loved icebreaker, it was one of my 1st few exotics. Unfortunately after switching consoles for year 2, I still haven't got it on ps4 yet. I could only afford 1 engram from xur as I've been taking a break. I would love to see it come back, simply to make it easier to obtain if for nothing else.

Signed. And let's pull thorn back in to. I grounded so much for that gun in year 1. I sucked at pvp and this gun forced me to become a better player. I pull thorn out every now and then for the fun of it.
