I remember the post claiming The Division was going to kill Destiny. I also remember the first week the game came out people claiming to be out of content for it. Then came the announcement for incursions and The Division is going to kill Destiny with Incursions returned. After Incursions flopped The Division those post claiming The Division was going to kill Destiny seemed to go away. IMO The Division was the best thing to ever happen to Destiny.

Well to be honest they do note that they lost the majority on PC where there is/was a serious problem with cheating. That being said Ubisoft are mentally deficient when they banned exploiters of the first incursion. Maybe its because the incursion was garbage and broken at launch. Oh wait it still is broken and sucks. The second incursion wasn't that bad I'll admit. Haven't attempted challenging yet.

12 AntwortenAbout 600k-800k left on destiny. Out of 25M "registered" players left that's all that's left over all systems is pretty sad as well. Only thing keeping destiny up are those delusional people who love to suffer through terrible lag and being bent of tables with their panties around their ankles. ;)

I liked The Division a lot. They then decided to release that first update that f u c k e d their player base over hard. Never buying a Tom Clancy game ever again. F u c k that garbage ass game.

There were many things that should have killed destiny but it just won't die, other amazing games, the countless nerfs, bungies screw ups and one of the saltiest player bases I have ever seen. But through its many flaws destiny is still an amazingly fun experience that a game like the division couldn't possibly kill.

I signed on Destiny tonight to rank up my HoJ (didn't get the Scout 😞), and play some Salvage, but after I had a teammate DC in my first two games and got put into a match down 5000 points in my third, I said fk this and switched. I bought the season pass, so I'm not going to waste that money by not playing it. It may have its bugs and design flaws, but I like the gameplay mechanics and I'm a big fan of the DZ, especially since 1.2 went live. I expected more from the Incursions, but Clear Sky was definitely a step up from Falcon Lost (I just wish they wouldn't artificially inflate the difficult [i]so much[/i] for challenge mode). I'm still looking forward to the Underground expansion, which is expected to launch within the next month, but nowhere near as much as I'm anticipating Rise of Iron. I truly, honestly believe that no game will ever captivate me the way Destiny and its universe has.

And? That doesn't mean shit to me. It could have 2 players and I would still play it. Why? Because I find it fun. Is it better than Destiny? They have their pros and cons. I still enjoy the heck out of both games, this whole "this game will kill this game" is so stupid. Play both games damn it.
