Bungle.........You could have waited for Destiny 2, (which needs to be a far BIGGER, more fulfilling and feature packed game).......But no, you decide that ALL last gen players have done their money.....and that the 100's of Dollars/Pounds/Euro's/AUD etc that have been spent supporting Destiny since Beta/Year 1 isn't worth diddly squat!
That my years of supporting this game, and £100 spent is alright to say "cheers...but you aren't valid anymore......go buy a new console and re-purchase the game AGAIN!"....Is fine and dandy
The debacle with a £40 TTK (lacking in content), the ripoff silver 'pay to proceed faster' scam, LACK of dedicated Servers, matchmaking, total bias for PvP, and now the £30 ROI dlc.....
So if I jumped across the console (the money isn't an issue, just location & timing) that will be THREE lots of Exp1&2 and two TTK's ** £45 vanilla, £35 Exp1&2, £40 TTK....then the PS4/XboxOne (£250-£400) + TTK Disc (£30-£70) and ROI DLC (£30) - JUST to continue to play Rise of Iron (ROI)
Is this the first time that I hear "Guardian done!"
Probably!
Destiny (with my characters) is over for me in Sept - (you know ALL the previous DLC inc TTK will be like a Ghost town!)
ENOUGH of throwing my money at the screen!
Thank's for showing that we Year 1 (360/PS3) gamers financial input into this game was just worthless!
UPDATE.......
Thanks for those that understand, those that think along the same lines.......those that say Destiny should have ALWAYS been next gen....
and also for you salty bunch who think 'buy a new console', 'git gud' and 'scrub' are insightful comments.....
Its' not about buying a new console (I'll wait for the PS4 NEO announcement - I'd be mad to spend £300 on a lesser PS4/XboxOne)......Its about the vanilla and the last 3 DLC all being ok to cash in on....but now with RoI....this is a forced decision......lose my characters, and jump platform, and get the PS exclusives
happy hunting Guardians
Now the EURO 16 Football's on!

1 AntwortenWhen any other old game loses server support, do you feel just as offended that they made all that money and time you spent worthless? Companies do what they gotta do to maximize profits. If the player base is too small to justify supporting the game, it's time to pull the plug. It's just how it works.

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von TheNerdyGamer535: 6/10/2016 5:00:14 AMLeave this here since it fits
. Listen fanboys defending this game, are you wondering why the game is getting so much hate? To wake up. Bungie took advantage from you and don't bring up "IT'S ACTIVISION" because bungie is just as involved as them. Bungie has given us repetitive content, has lied, made free events that are nothing than a joke, took them a year to fix the year 1 meta, given us false advertising and will keep doing this as long as you give them your money and defence. You don't realise but bungie is has milked more money than any company combined. History has been made, no company has earned this much money for recycling content and hardly doing anything to fix their game. Don't belive me? Ttk had leaks that the nine where involved and it was cut along with the other 100 exotics. Vanilla was a complete mess, nothing but a joke. More than half of the story was cut. Bungie sold us a story lacking, repetitive PvE grinding game for full price. Sold us HoW and TDB when they where in the original game along with the taken King. HoW and TDB even had areas players glitched into from the first month the game came out. I heard the raid in TDB was glitched into December 2014. Wake up, quick feeding bungie your money. The way you guys have act... should should be shame to be even heard as part of a "gaming community". Devs could look at this money hoard and do the same thing. Learn, open your eyes, hate on the game so bungie can listen, and don't just throw your money at them. -A hater
Sorry but if you don't have a current gen system by now it's probably not that big of a priority to you anyways. So no big deal

Bearbeitet von Jvp WReNCh: 6/10/2016 4:48:07 AMI'm sure if you cry about it enough, they'll change their mind & make it compatible with legacy consoles.

Your 100 euros over 2 years comes out to be a little more than 4 euros a month, which is peanuts unless you live under a bridge. If you don't want to spend the money, then don't but don't cry on the forums because someone's trying to run a business and produce entertainment for millions of people (that have no problem throwing money at the screen).

The player base dropped off quite a bit on PS4. If last Gen suffered the same fate, it just isn't profitable to keep bothering with an operating system that's almost 12 years old. Time to let it go...

While I'm with you on the bs, I think there is good reason for them doing it this way. I think it's similar to bf4 where the last map released wasn't on last gen due to limited memory for updates and content. Biggest difference between bf4 and destiny is dice explained this and was sincere when saying they wish they could add it to last gen while bungie doesn't care about anyone on last gen. For them it's basically about money...which they learned from the best, activision.

Ok since you are an XBOX player I'll put it this way. New XB1s are now $278 at Wal-Mart and $299 at GameStop. Take your 360 and trade it in on a new XB1 to further cut this down and move forward. Your progress will transfer to the XB1 as well as a lot of your games! (As long as you keep the disks, digital have almost all moved across automatically) We traded our 360 in end of last year and it along with our accessories paid for the 1TB Master Chief collection XB1. They count your 360 and 1 controller as a system. Each additional piece is extra, even the Charge cables for the controllers! I was expecting them to wait till Destiny 2 but they pushed that off till 2017. Though Microsoft was going to drop the 360 this year anyway so hurry and trade-up before the 360 is worthless!

It's £25.

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von TheBeardedLokiVariant: 6/10/2016 2:56:59 AMI was a beta player on xbox360 and i upgraded to an XboxOne a year ago. You haven't, you are using outdated tech and you are getting left behind. Don't blame bungie, or even Activision. Blame yourself for not keeping up. In the words of DJ Khaled "you played yourself" Also The Taken King includes all dlc and vanilla destiny so you'd only be paying for ttk and rise of iron.
