If you were paying attention and bought it from xur one of the two times he sold it. Or lucky enough to get it dropped. Then the year two version should be sitting in your blueprints sept 20th. That's how I feel about it. How about something new that we haven't earned yet. IMO it's kind of lame to have to "earn" the same damn weapon over and over again. With that said I'm looking forward to using it in year 2 and I hope it gets some sort of buff. I'm just a little underwhelmed...sorry. Rise of Iron looks badass though. I Can't wait to play it!!!

I love being played and toyed with. Bungie's been doing it since day one. Time to get off this roller coaster.

1 AntwortenYes, I'm hyped....but no, because it will be the nurfed version. In year 1 it was the game's iconic weapon. Bungie showed in their ROI pre-order trailer the player reactions on this weapon dropping - and they somehow need to recreate this, if not in ROI then in Destiny2. It doesn't have to be the G'horn, but there has to be some random drop that gets the same reaction from players. It took over 1100 hours of game time before it dropped for me (POE level 28 chest in the first week of HoW) and I screamed like a girl. Hoping that it would drop made me anticipate the weekly reset so that I could do the nightfall on all three characters and then Crota. Every week was a disappointment, but what the heck, there was always next week! I understand why it was nurfed and wasn't brought through to year 2 - you either had it and were cool or didn't have it and were a scrub. In year 2 we have had 3oC's, which have made getting exotics a question of how many strange coins you have, or through quests/time-gated missions. Neither of these gives the same "wow" factor as when that G'horn eventually dropped. Bungie, please find some way to recreate that magic moment again.

3 AntwortenBearbeitet von SquidGuy: 6/11/2016 12:46:58 AMI was happy, then I saw that it was part of a quest. That ruins ghorn for me. Also, it was nerfed and won't be as good as some other heavy choices.

Liked. I'm hoping it's not the only Y1 weapon making a comeback. Keeping my fingers crossed for Icebreaker.
-
It won't be the same. But it will be nice I suppose.
-
I'm so f***ing happy gally is back
-
The look of the Black Gjally is OP. It should be nerfed.
-
No question, just the manner in which they bring it?? And hell yes to icebreaker but that also will be nerfed into nothingness if the bring it back
-
That $hit its gonna be so nerf , you won't be able to kill a level 2 fallen in cosmodrome
-
1 AntwortenIt will suck if Bungie remembers the old ghorn. It's gunna be some new rocket with cool paint that does the same job just worse.
-
Just because they are bringing back G-horn, I'm all hyped for the Rise of Iron DLC. As soon as pre-order is available for Xbox One, I'm gonna do it.
-
Personally i thin the G horn will be a huge let down. Theres no way it will be even a shadow of its former glory, Bungie wouldnt release something into the game which EVERYONE will get knowing that its super OP. Id say its gonna be a dust collector.
-
I'd just do the quest. The time that takes for doing it is not worth my money.
-
-blam!- Yeah!
-
1 AntwortenAt least don't need it & make the quest ridiculously long

Bearbeitet von sayoripuns: 6/10/2016 11:00:34 PMThere was no Year 2 version so they're giving us the Year 3 one. I don't know if it will be thrice as better or thrice as worse
-
67 AntwortenPathetic they would create an OP year 1 weapon that became a LFG requirement, purposely leave it out of year 2 for that reason, then use that year 1 reputation in a marketing ploy to boost pre-order sales for year 3 content. That's pretty slimy, IMO. Especially considering they could have offered something new instead.

Bearbeitet von Snake: 6/10/2016 10:45:22 PMwhat happend to "furture dlc will be free" and "micro transactions are going to be used for paying for future dlc" like they were saying when taken king was released at around £45 ($60 on release i think correct me if i am wrong) are bungie trying to insult us again make us pay another £20 ($30) for a single raid and strike and a few other things that won't last most playes 2 days per character followed by more grinding of light levels, what the hell is bungie thinking? (what am i thinking, one last money grab before the release of destiny 2 next year obviously). yes i liked the g-horn back in year 1 but with all the nerfs it will probably be more or less useless, is it worth that extra £20 or so (preorder for the black and silver version aswell, artificial sales revinue right there) to bring it back no (but stupidly as soon as year 1 players hear g-horn is coming back, well we preorder it), and let me guess what they will do to go along with it, all year 2 gear will be made irrelivent once more.

1 AntwortenThe fact that you get it from pre-ordering is ridiculous takes all the fun out of it.
-
1 AntwortenBeing you can pretty much buy the gun I'm betting it'll be crap, and if you don't pre order sure it'll be easy to get, probably a quest reward or something along those lines
-
People pre ordering it just gives u the skin you still have to do the quest read the fine print
-
-
Pre nerf, yea. Post nerf, not so much :-(
