47 AntwortenWell see not all people have 400-600$ lying around in their assholes like you some people have to work with a minimum wage job, so you stop complaining spoiled brat

20 AntwortenI have 4 kids, 2 dogs, a wife, and 2 cars. I pay all the bills, gas, electrical, water, rent, tv, internet, and medical. And people expect me to just save up and buy a next gen console? Look most of the money I set aside goes towards feeding my family and giving them clothes to wear. So before you say "you could just put some money off to the side and save up", you should think. Before any of you say " Get a better job", have you seen this economy? It is hard enough to get a low paying job as it is. You can't just simply walk into some place and get a better job. Yes I am a college graduate. But I only make 18$ an hour.

1 AntwortenI don't understand why we are even having these posts. I knew, you knew it, bungie knew it. We all knew it was going to happen.

9 AntwortenBearbeitet von Robotyze: 6/10/2016 9:52:26 AMThe original game was on the legacy consoles also. So making the expansion exclusive is unethical. If Destiny 2 was current gen exclusive it was still understandable. I'm on PS4 and will also be on PS4.5 wherever it's out but that doesn't change the fact that it's unethical. Anyway nothing can be done to stop this so it's best for legacy owners to find other games or upgrade.
Also down voted
23 AntwortenBearbeitet von HyperionX99: 6/10/2016 7:12:05 AMTelling people to "stop complaining" is only allowed when people post complaints that are complete bs. The complaints about Rise of Iron not being on 360/PS3 are completely warranted and 100% valid. Players on all 4 consoles either bought the game Day 1, or (like myself) bought the Legendary Edition in December last year, and now we're being told that in order play Rise of Iron, those of us that play on 360/PS3 have shell out $300-$400 for an XBone/PS4, $40 more to buy the corresponding copy of the Legendary Edition, and then $30 more for Rise of Iron. Guess what, some of us either a. don't have that kind of money (and given how hard it is to find a damn job nowadays, probably won't by september), or b. don't want to shell out that much for a video game. And honestly, why should we? We're being denied an expansion to a game we already bought. We're well within our right to be pissed off and complaining.

1 AntwortenNo I'm not bitching about this but u need to understand 1 thing destiny was going to be on ps3 and 360 when it was made. But Sony and Microsoft made ps4 and the one so bungie had to make the game for them. If bungie didn't push destiny 2 back a year then it would be no problem but still making a dlc on this game and only for ps4 and one is going to have backlash on last gen gamers.

6 AntwortenTelling other people to stop complaining because you don't share their plight is probably one of the most classic cases of downright ignorance that I've ever seen.

Bearbeitet von GateofLeviathan: 6/12/2016 5:37:19 AMI do, as well, agree, yeah. I do own a PS3 still, I would upgrade, but haven't found a job in 13 months. I get that companies can't stay behind and keep developing games for last Gen. But I always found it harsh that people blame those who still own old Gen consoles. For a lot, it's not their choice. Gaming isn't cheap, and upgrading, is a hard thing to do. With wages being so low, hard finding jobs, even low wage ones, the economy still crappy, you'll see a lot more with old tech. Alot of people seem to forget in this day in age, that getting a job that pays well and having money to blow on anything, is a dream, and hard to ever get. It makes me giggle alittle, because when ( Or if ever ) the PS5 comes around, we will start this again " People that own PS4s are holding the PS5 back ".

44 AntwortenBearbeitet von ChopnScrew: 6/10/2016 2:12:28 AMDestiny was developed for 360/PS3, was it not? It started since around Reach's launch. The game just happened to take such a long development time to where it got finished on the unfortunate era of when next-gen consoles were already released. My guess is, if anything, the PS4/One version of Destiny was the afterthought, and we should be lucky Bungie even considered a next-gen version. Really, when you get down to it: Destiny is a last-gen game, with a current-gen port. As a current-gen owner, I think it's unfair that last-gen support might be getting dropped (for Destiny). As long as the 360/PS3 servers are still up, I say they deserve to keep getting all the content they signed up for. I'm probably gonna get attacked for defending last-gen here. Apparently getting a new console comes with a superiority complex that I forgot to install... Get off your high-current-gen horse and learn to share the toy with the kid who had it in the first place. If you want Destiny to become PS4/One centered, push for Destiny 2. Edit: I don't get on this site often enough for me to respond to everyone. I already threw my two cents; I'll let you guys do what you will with them.

1 AntwortenI have an Xbox one which I got close to release. I ended up keeping my old 360 and have Destiny on both. I still use my 360 up in the bonus room sometimes even though I use my Xbox one mostly. I wonder if I will still be able to use it once my character gets higher level and new equipment. Right now I can go back and forth between the two.

1 AntwortenI'm a family man and saved up for a year and got my x bone. I'm really into my games so I knew it would get its money worth and more but what kinda gets me is that the discontinued use of the last gen consoles has some how snuck up and caught a few off guard. Maybe it's cause the last gen is still viable - I don't know anymore.
-
2 AntwortenI get what you are saying but why would anyone save money for something they didn't need and also didn't know they WOULD need? What difference then does having 3 years to get something they may not have wanted, and for a while, did not need? You see, usually when someone saves money it is usually for some end goal...unless you just have extra money laying around.
-
4 AntwortenI have a current gen console but I'm not going to re purchase the game and DLC. If they offer the free upgrade again then fine... But if not it's a sick joke
-
I agree. People need to stop complaining about it. Destiny is supposed to last 10 years right? Do you guys think they would keep developing Destiny for consoles that we all knew would be discontinued at some point? Especially when those consoles are limited in power compared to newer gen? Come on lol

10 AntwortenBearbeitet von Wildfire44601: 6/10/2016 8:36:24 PMI didn't Upgrade 3 years ago because I had a feeling that something like this coming: PS4 4K

18 AntwortenMakes no sense. First of all, why doesn't bungie want my money? Second of all the entire game was built around last gen consoles... why change that for the LAST DLC? That's just strange business practice and customer service... I just don't get the decision. I know that I also won't be upgrading for one DLC pack. Maybe for Destiny 2, but one DLC? Nope.
-
Like I don't care that they dropped last gen consoles, but it would have been nice if they could have told us a months ago cause I don't play alot of different games and I didn't feel the need to upgrade. But now that I have to I am gonna kind of break the bank getting an xbone. Im the type of person that if something works why change, but anywho wish they would have told us, would have started saving sooner lel.

31 AntwortenWhat a childish post, video games arent everyones top priority, genius. Not everyone can, or wants to spend 300-400$ on a new system. I'm using next gen and i still hope they keep giving old gen users updates just to spite elitists like yourself.

Stop complaining about people complaining.

113 AntwortenI'll stop complaining when you tell me which of the following you pay for with your "savings" for next gen consoles / games: Rent / Mortgage Personal Transport to Commute Water bills Electricity bills Gas bills Internet bills Mobile phone contract Food for yourself (monthly) Food for your family (monthly) The clothes on your back The clothes on your family's back Health insurance Vehicle insurance Emergencies (eg. Eye care, medical care, dental care, etc) The TV / bed / furniture / every other item you own which your parents didn't give you as a birthday or Xmas gift And every social treat money can buy, from eating out to trips to the cinema. Pretty long list huh? If it isn't a monthly cost it sure as hell is a bi-yearly cost; now be careful as you step down from your high horse otherwise you'll fall into the puddle of your own arrogant shit, because I'm pretty sure the majority of Destiny players are too young to be juggling all or most of that list day in / day out. That is why this DLC limitation is bull. That is why I still play PS3 - i haven't even played through all the games I have on the PS3 because I don't have the time I would like to do so. Y'know, that doesn't sound like such a bad idea... I'll catch you premature pricks on the cusp of 2018 and check in to see if this stunt was worth it.

This is basically Destiny starting its chemotherapy to eventually remove the malignant tumor that is all the old-gen console players.
-
9 AntwortenI wish I was like you, where I don't have to pay for anything besides things such as a PS4. :') Fact of the matter? Priorities are important.
-
...and if backwards compatibility wasn't a thing, then it still wouldn't have been worth it.
-
1 AntwortenI think it's a bit soon because destiny isn't even finished yet. They should atleast wait till an actual sequel instead of cutting people off part way through.
-
I will be getting my PS4 in about a month

2 AntwortenOr wait for xbox 2.....
