Haven't done it for a month now.
Edit: As of June 08 the thread is still active and we're still getting responses from many forumers that they had stopped doing the raid and that the game is stale. If Bungie is reading, you might want to consider bringing out some temporary activities (like srl) while we wait for the next dlc

Yep, haven't done it in months, then again I haven't played since December -ish.

2 AntwortenPipe down sunshine. Enjoy your summer and then come back to Destiny when the expansion drops. Go get your fingers sticky or something.
-
Haven't whipped that guys azz in awhile. Think I'm gonna find some noobs and make the magic happen this weekend. Anyone with me?
-
1 AntwortenNope, not doing it anymore... Was fun the first dozen times... After that. Just nope.
-
Too stressful. :(
-
Good for you... not really worth making a post about if im honest
-
Done it once. Got Touch of Malice. Never done it since. Gear is ugly, the weapons I got (AR and HC) were poop. Only thing I kept was the Kingslayer shell :)
-
I need to finish the golg challenge and get the armor then I'm never touching that raid again. It's a great raid but it rely to much on communication which is a luxury that I was not born with.
-
Since april update finished raid only once. No need for that, I'm 335 on all 3 characters without raiding. And after so long playing that shit even thought of it make me sick.

7 AntwortenHaven't for a few weeks now, tired of helping randoms through it because they always suck at jumping parts, just been farming heroic strikes
-
It's like what, the rest of this month, july, august, and most of semtember. I'm sure some kind of content can be placed in that span of time to keep players active for a while.
-
there is a raid?
-
Rest week for my clan, once it is done we will go back to our raid. I like KF, I love the jumping puzzles. Tbh, at this point I only really do it for the puzzles as I find them super fun. Especially when people fail at them, oh what joy.
-
Lol dude I think I did hard raid once. After I figured out just how pointless the end game is due to everything being strictly based on light and how pointless light itself is, I saw absolutely zero reason to ever do it. Same goes with trials, totally pointless
-
I still do CE but only for fun and for materials
-
-
Yeap me too, barelly 4 out of 20+ get online in my clan by this days... we usually call it due to lack of people and no matchmaking to help us out.

3 AntwortenIts been months. I hate the KF raid. The other two were gorgeous and even the Set Pieces in the original PoE were amazing! The design of KF is awful. The entire atmosphere is depressing with its brown and gray color pallet and although the boss fights are creative they missed an opportunity there as they aren't "boss fights" as much as they are "mechanics fights" Oryx was supposed to be the the baddest enemy in the Destiny universe besides the Darkness itself but killing him was so anti-climatic I wanted to throw up. No cut scene, no special dialog, no acknowledgement from him at all. He didn't talk sh!t to you or anything. He just drifted off into space as a shriveled up corpse. Besides the interdimensional battle with his Shade, at no point did I ever feel like I was fighting Oryx. I always feel like I'm fighting raid mechanics

20 AntwortenBearbeitet von TheOxymoron431: 6/9/2016 9:59:49 PMI really hope the next raid isn't as hell bent on team perfection as kings fall. At atheon, two guardians die and its "shit, nobody else can die". At oryx, one person dies and its "shit, well I guess we need to wipe"

I haven't done it since March. I have a God-roll Defiance and all the infusion fuel I could ever need. So unless they start giving out dates with Selena Gomez or real money as raid rewards, I'll pass.

2 AntwortenBearbeitet von Canubiis: 6/9/2016 3:49:03 PMKing's Fall is different than the rest of the raid. The atmosphere is the opposite of VoG. It is less "cheese-able" than Crota's End that you cannot cheat your way to even solo it from start to end and there's a lot of things to do not just for someone but for everyone. I think Bungie did a good job to conceptualize this raid. Raids are meant for teamwork and Kings Fall is one that promotes it's importance. From running and grabbing relics to challenge modes... You guys know how challenge modes work, it's pretty much trying to get everyone to do stuff that some will hesitate to do like grabbing Golgoroth's gaze or being the one who holds and prolongs the aura needed to damage warpriest. I think challenge modes were designed to challenge each one of us to get better at doing these things. I agree jumping puzzles suck and there's a whole lot of them in KF. I never had a problem with them but I've done the raid long enough to hear plenty of people complain about them. But it needs to be done so I believe it's a matter of forcing yourself to get better at it. Rewards pretty much suck? Yes as far usefulness goes, but no for increasing your light level. Blame RNG then might as well blame the rest of the activities like the stupid nightfalls. Rewards are pretty much for light level infusion materials. You get 6 chances of getting 335 drops from CoE by doing all 3 characters (if you have 3 capable characters) while the raid gives you more... so I think people are disappointed about how the weapons are not as useful......well I would not say Quillim's terminus is useless lol that thing with persistence shreds in crucible but yeah I know how the community feels about the drops (their usefulness and aesthetics). Incompetent fireteams. Well this has been a problem since CE and Vog days. But I don't blame people for trying and failing, not even those inexperienced 335's who have reached that level by not doing the raid. Im not an elitist. I blame those individuals who don't try and are full of shiet. I can relate to most of you but I do not agree to most of them. I try to be optimistic about what bungie can offer you see. But as a veteran raider of Kings Fall my disappointment came with how it got boring pretty quick with the implementation of the April updates light leveling system - it got easier and way less challenging for me as a raider. This is my own personal opinion. I wish King's Fall went back to back with Vault of glass and Crota's End. I love doing raids with teams but I hate how we only have one right now that's up to date.
-
I did it 1 time when the April update came out and then stopped. Didn't really like this raid.
-
Me a long time ago, I wasn't a massive fan to begin with but I end up leaving my own check point because I've invited a team of retards. I don't need anything anyway.
-
Bungie doesn't have the resources to create new maps for SRL. Pretty pathetic if you ask me. It should of been in a rotation like Iron Banner.
-
CoE is easier to get a team I can carry. Last 3 weeks I've had 50% of the total points in CoE. Last time I did a raid a month ago, I spent more time in orbit looking for a team, than actually playing the game

1 AntwortenStopped a while ago....if it wasn't for pvp I would have stopped playing destiny a few weeks after TTK dropped
