Precision Throwing Knife needs some loving.
Dear Bungie,
I don't understand a world where a Titan shoulder charge can kill me instantly but a throwing knife to the face doesn't. Which takes more skill to do?
Please show good shots some more lovin. We actually deserve them.

Bruh do you know how much aim assist is on those knives? Literally the first time i made a hunter (not long ago) the first throwing knife I threw was in the crucible and it was a precision hit

My shield + helmet doesnt care about your kinetic knife. My arc full body tackle of courses kill someone in one hit. The mass difference alone.

Golden gun and bladedancer are not really scary, move back or hide sticky nade and thats it for them+(few bullets). Sunsigner stormcaller and hammer are alot harder to kill.

6 AntwortenThat would be op. Its not that hard, you know. And besides you have wombo combo. And also, a punch cant one hit you so why would a punch that can crossmap you be able to one hit you?

26 AntwortenHunters are overpowerd as it is right now. They dont need any buffs. Shoulder charge you need to be close to hit them. Throwing knife has alot of tracking and you can throw it and hide. With shoulder charge you might die from a shotgun or they back up.

Landing throwing knife headshots is ridiculously easy, if they ever made them a OHK they would have to tone the aim assist down to 0% and make the animation for throwing the knife considerably longer.

9 AntwortenNo. That's basically shouldercharge without the flaws and has a cooldown. It would be a sniper round in your hand. You could also do cross-map kills which would take luck but would be annoying. People would use it as a easy way to get out of a fight. They would panic and use it like wombo-combo. Also if I was going to try to shouldercharge you at full health, you would win by one press of a button at the range where no weapon was made to one-shot people.

You're joking right? Shoulder charge has a delay/has to be planned. And even then the defender can shotgun the Titan. Throwing knives are instant and can be thrown from outside shotgun fusion range.

5 AntwortenMost charged melees don't one-hit-kill. Why would the longest range melee in the game be any different? That would be overpowered, since you could chain them indefinitely. Theoretically infinite one hit kill melees from any range? No thanks.

I use Gunslinger primarily now.... Throwing Knives are already VERY strong, killing in 1 shot after 1 Hand Cannon bullet. 1 shot to the head would be absurd and everyone would use Gambler's Dagger + Knife Juggler + max strength for literally infinite knives. Sorry, but this is just a bad idea.

i actually like it skillwise. you have to shoot somebody and then trow it... feels.much more rewarding.

1 AntwortenThey are fine. Any competent gunslinger knows you have to prime your target before using your throwing knife. It's literally 1 shot then an instakill if your aim is good. They also have a pretty large hitbox.

Dear Op, You can't look at destiny logically. If you do then throwing knives should be a one shot to the head but so would everything else. You would die from a single shot from everything. Hand cannons scouts pulses everything should logically kill you in a single shot... Signed someone who doesn't look at destiny logically

Totally feel you:/ shotgun+throwing knife is love. Even certain warlock melees one hit, and shoulder charge isnt even a depleting melee...

1 AntwortenAhhh back when destiny first released throwing knives could 1 hit. But this was a problem because once you got good with it (not hard) you didnt even need to shoot your gun to kill anyone.

This should be real at least with the burning knives.

1 AntwortenI just think low armor with incendiary precision should kill. Medium and high should live, all should live if it's not precise or incendiary just do what it does now.
