There is no "fun" as you describe it anymore. You have to go full on or get crushed. And it's because most of us aren't good enough to get away with Khvostov and a fusion rifle. Sir D can. Not us. Yeah it sucks. But hey, that's how it goes. It's not Bungie's fault that people are and have become good at this game. It's been out for a long time and many instructional videos were made, so average Joe guardian learned how to play. Also, the population has declined so you only face people that want to play pvp to win. Nothing wrong with that. That's why they implemented SBMM. To try and protect people like you. And people like me, from the top 1%. Still doesn't work, because so many random factors exist (maybe on purpose) that even if I play my heart out my gun just chokes from time to time. Get over it or don't play pvp. Simple as that...
