When he asks to play or learn don't be quick to shut him down. He is looking up to you not only as a dad but as a gamer. Teach him like he is a grown up. Kids will learn things that will blow your mind if you take the time. For example, he understands that having every exotic meant something to you and he acknowledged with art and his own thoughts.
