Petition time: please make year one raids relevant!

Ok, guardians
This is my attempt to start a vaguely noticeable petition about making year one raids relevant again.
So please post your opinion or ideas and sign if you agree.

-raid bounty system (see post below)
-adding more mysteries (hidden exotics, ghosts, etc.
-elemental cores
- add VoG emblem
- challenge modes
-quest for raid exotics

You guys do know that won't be free, right? Yes you have the raid right now, but you're asking for what can end up being hundreds of hours of work. Just let them add content that progresses what they want to do with the story. Stop looking back.

2 AntwortenEventually they will do this, as it has been requested for so long. When they do, however, they will immediately be inundated with complaints about why they were rehashing old stuff instead of working on new content. Mark my words. :-(

1 AntwortenYes, please make them relevant! What would be the harm in making VoG armor relevant? The last dlc was junk! Maybe 3wks and I was over it! I'm losing faith in bungie, and their ability to keep this game going.

11 AntwortenThey were great but I think they should stay year one. New players can still experience them on their way up. Old players can still do them for fun. I would rather the devs focus on new content and new raids.

Just play them!! You can still get everything. You can still use everything. Maybe throw on old raid gear and run year 1 Poe or something.

7 AntwortenLike do you honestly think bungie arent aware?? There have been posts like this for nearly a year, im pretty sure they know people want it. Why bother with another? Just add your name to the 500million other posts asking for the same thing. Whats really sad is its a bad idea, bungie are aware of this because they employ intelligent people.

We also did CE trying to get flawless raider as a group. We also do Skolas for the rep, so why would you want to run There different raids 3x Skolas CoE All so people can complain how bad RnG is, or how repetitive the game is. I would rather have new content(like the rumored Rise of Iron). Edit: Or the dev team to stay focused on D2.

No. We took one step back when it came to the order of which stuff came out and everybody got extremely mad over it. If they bring them back all people are going to do is cry.

I think part of the problem is that when creating a new character or even new players find the raids are not essential or relevant to the progression of the game. I don't really have much of a solution other than to maybe require a raid completion to continue the story (must complete VOG to play dark below missions, must kill crota to play house of wolves missions, must kill skolas to play taken king missions) But that still kind of doesn't really sit right as an absolute requirement; obviously if I was going to make a new character and enjoy the story again I would play it that way and require myself to complete the raids for the fun of the order, but new players really don't need the raids and the raid gear isn't really going to be a monumental requirement to continue their game. And therein really lies the issue...... You could play start to finish in a day, if not a weekend, go from beginning to lvl40 and have a decent arsonal, hit kings fall normal, POE and COE, and grab a kings fall hard group and be on your way. Start on a friday so you can get some three of coins to use on just about every mission and you should easily get about 15 - 20 exotic engrams in that weekend (now some are probably repeats and other classes but you'll have a strong collection). We want the nostalgia of building up, trying to get good enough for VOG, the only way to get gear good enough for VOG hard was VOG normal, and we spent a couple months on it, repeat with crota, repeat with HOW, and now we (or at lest I) (if I could get a 335 ghost I at lest 2 if all three characters would be 335 with plenty of 335 weapons and gear to choose from) and we wait. On a side note yes, I absolutely believe previous raid weapons should be brought forword, I think it's stupid to have removed all burns from primaries and they should have either kept burns for raid weapons or made it like a chroma thing where you enchant your weapon to get a primary burn. Don't even make it easy, make us farm special materials from the raid to lvl up our weapons, but make it a possibility and buff the kings fall weapons because they're mostly garbage.
