Ok, guardians
This is my attempt to start a vaguely noticeable petition about making year one raids relevant again.
So please post your opinion or ideas and sign if you agree.

-adding more mysteries (hidden exotics, ghosts, etc.

Just add to the drops a 'vog treasure' or 'Crota treasure' containing raid armor at ll3 and infusable, or weapon y2 version. Remove elemental damage from primaries and replace with 'more damage to vex/hive' for vog and Crota respectively. Or some other new perk.

Sorry but nope and they do not ever have to do it no matter how many say yes ever. Y1 should stay y1. weapons/armor/raids/strikes.....

(There is more to read) Now, if they added a weekly quest from each faction to defeat a certain boss in the old raids for an item drop to get a pice of armor or a weapon, that would be great! Making old raids relevant with the least amount of work for the best profit. (you can choose up to 3 per week) Vanguard, DO, FWC, NM, gun smith, queens wrath and Crota bounties/quests. By completing these you are awarded a chance at an exotic armor or weapon bounty just like year one. Let's add in some end incentive, you get a chance at an extra loot drop for said items if the target is the final boss and you physically run the whole raid (does not have to be all at once), no skipping content from another's checkpoint past a checkpoint you earned from a fresh run (Drop rate 15%). (Intelligent replies 0/4)

8 AntwortenThe thing about VoG and CE is, they are in the past in the timeline. By revamping them/updating them they are introducing new weapons/enemies into a time before Taken/HoW were known to us.

For the people calling it re-skinned content they've already beaten... It wouldn't be re-skinned, it would be a year 2 level raid. Same thing as it was before, but year 2 level and maybe a few new things such as a new ghost or something to find. Wouldn't mean you have to do it - just another thing you can do.

Honestly I figured they already would have done this, it's an easy addition and god knows they like easy to make "content".

3 AntwortenI would love them back as well. I'd love to solo the lamps and bridge and again when it's a challenge. Or have bounties and challenge modes like we see with KF and CoE. But let's be real here. The last thing Bungie needs is more hate about "selling back old, reskinned content". And how long will people keep running them? A couple weeks till they get what they want or they again tire of them? IF they bring them back, it needs to be as an extra side, not the main dish...

I also like the gorgons maze, it was fun to try and sneak around this deadly opponent. My thought's: I don't want to old raid's back. I want [u]new[/u] raids the wonder of seeing something new and figuring it out is exciting, we are supposed to get stronger and these kinds of raids show that we are. If we got VoG again you'll have fun the first time but eventually you'll get bored of it a lot more faster becuase it's exactly the same a last year, they are only stronger so more people will rage quit the raid. So that will be fun again!

6 AntwortenHow about this: instead of bringing them up with updated rewards. How about Bungie brings up the difficulty, but instead have a challenge mode esque activity, make the raids timed, have a gold tier, silver tier, bronze tier. Let's say if you beat the raid in 30 mins you get gold, 45 mins silver, 1 hour bronze. The rewards for coming within these tiers would be a piece of transmog armour. Similar to how the desolate armour and spektar sets work from the boxes. They come at 3 defense, but can be infused. But this Armour will be the sickest, most badass armour in the game. Warlocks will war robes imbued with all the elements, the helmet will have glowed fire in the colour of your equipped subclass out of the eyes. The Titan will look like a war machine, with mechanical wings on its back. The hunter will look like a rogue, with a piece of cloth covering it's eyes, relying only on its senses and the light to guide him/her, every step the hunter will take will leave a trail of light behind it. You get 3 pieces of this set and a shader for getting gold tier, 2 pieces for silver, one piece for gold.

I don't need rewards for fun. Fun is in playing the raid. Not what I get at the end. If I want it to be a challenge I just use blues or equip my old stuff. I don't want to be wearing that old gear in the latter half of year 2 at max light level. It's cool to wear and use now because it was the first stuff I got. I'd be bored stiff of it by now if I'd been using it for everything for nearly 2 years. Voted no.

They would be fun to do again. My petition is for dedicated servers; connectivity issues are the only problem I have with the game right now. I will seriously consider not purchasing Destiny 2 if they are not there. Two more years of weasel, baboon, viper, and the rest of Noah's ark are not my cup of tea.

I don't see the arguments for wanting to leave the old raids behind? They're these incredible experiences that are in the game but never get any use. Even if they just made it so when you did challenges you could get an emblem or even made bounties for completing them it would be fun to go back to. Why not take advantage of replayable content when it seems to be the #1 thing people ask for?
