They should've shot the parent instead.

1 AntwortenThis is injustice. We should've shot the railing for letting the child fall.

2 AntwortenStupid kid, I hope he's happy.

Yeah, he was totally just pulling him around.

2 AntwortenI'm that crazy mom who has her 2.5 year old on a leash. Well behaved or not kids are dumb and do dumb things and it's up to us adults to help prevent all those dumb things from happening. With that said.... Do I think the zoo did what they felt was necessary to save the life of the child? Yes I do. Do I think the parent is 100% at fault? That question is a bit trickier. I wasn't there, I didn't see what happened. There have been reports that it happened very quickly and people even tried to grab him and couldn't. As a parent I can tell you kids can be fast sneaky little bastards. This is why my kids are either in a stroller or on a leash. So basically the whole situation sucks, the mom is getting death threats the zoo lost their gorilla, and at the end of the day it was a tragic accident. Luckily at least the boy survived. Had the boy died they would of most likely put the gorilla down anyways.

9 AntwortenHow does a 4 year old have enough time to climb over a fence without their parent seeing them?

4 AntwortenPeople die every day and nobody gives a shit. But let a -blam!-ing animal die and everyone loses their mind.

You just weren't paying attention and he/she climbs over and falls in. Would you tell the zoo keepers "I'm sorry, I wasn't paying attention when my kid fell over the fence. Just let the gorilla do whatever he wants with my child."? I'm sure you wouldn't just like these parents because they treasure the life of their kid over the life of that gorilla and I'm sure you would to if you were the parent. Obviously they should have been paying attention, but like all animals, we make mistakes. Learn from it and move on. No point in all this fussing

6 Antworten
Shot in cold blood because of parents irresponsible enough to watch there son knowing of the danger of wild animals at a zoo
This is the exact reason we have zoos in the first place. To observe exotic and dangerous animals. If anyone is to blame, it's the zoo. Why is a child able to easily manage their way into a gorilla habitat?
-
Imma sue someone
-
Should have shot the kid
-
Why didn't they kill the parents as well as the gorilla?
-
The death of the gorilla and the kid falling into the pit can be blamed on the mom because she wasn't paying attention to her own kid

And yet if they did nothing or tried to tranquil use it and the gorilla kills the kid, everyone would be up in arms over not killing it! Today's culture to damn anyone for doing anything due to that entitlement feeling that their opinion matters and MUST be heard.

Gorilla did better parenting and still dies
WTF ARE PEOPLE DOING
