lets talk the last word. in year 1 I will give you that it was over powered and needed to be nerfed.
but when taken king dropped the September patch came out that basically cut its stability in half I thought that patch made it very balanced and rewarded a skilled hand.
Then april hits and it gets a nerf that removes its exotic perk for no reason. correct me if im wrong but the last word takes the most skill to use unlike doctrines witch I will have a topic for another day...
Now I get that it would 2 shot to the head but I think a easier solution would be to lower the perks damage so it couldn't 2 shot so they chose to remove the whole perk just a thought bungie maybe analyze problems more in depth.
anyways here are some ideas I have to make the last word more rewarding because I feel like it doesn't have a exotic perk in my opinion the perk should reward a skill hand in firing from the hip.
-no damage fall off or reduced damage fall off when firing from the hip
- +5 or +10 range should be added to the gun because lets be honest it feels like im shooting casper with the thing just like other hand cannons aka ghost bullets witch needs to be fixed...
- more range when firing from the hip if you don't add the +5 or +10 to the original range on the gun
- precision kills or preferably kills from anywhere on the body when firing from the hip makes you reload faster so basically outlaw attached to the last word perk
-maybe even a tad bit of stability when firing from the hip would be nice +5 optional
Anyways these are my thoughts on how to make the last word perk more rewarding and not to make it overpowered but balanced cause I feel its more rewarding to ads with this gun even if you disagree with the points I still feel the last word perk needs a buff in someway
please post below your thoughts and maybe if you have any suggestions to make the last word perk more rewarding to fire from the hip keep in mind this is to buff the last word perk not to make the overall gun op.

Buff it back to year 1 levels but keep the glitch fixed, buff thorn back to how us of wolves and balance it again from there, retain hand cannons to HoW, pulse rifles back to HoW, autos back to 1.0, shotguns back with shot package removed and ready speed nerfed, bring snipers back to HoW but remove hidden hand, buff from signs to 1.0 and balance them from there, buff sidearms hit registration. This would serve to speed up the pace back to the original game which we loved, it has became very stagnant with camping snipers, camping shotgunners, camping doctrine users, campers with Mida, campers with hacksaw, basically just people attempting to camp and raise their kd because actually fighting people is discouraged in this meta.

4 AntwortenBearbeitet von Daku: 5/31/2016 6:05:22 AMhow about no for these reasons here 1. its still good if you know how to use it instead of relying on the damage boost like most do who say TLW isn't worth using 2. its the fastest firing hand cannon in the game. 3. if you can't adapt to the changes that are made put the gun down and switch. 4. it needs no range boost the fact you try to kill people at long rang is your choice its a close range weapon. 5. maybe you only used the gun cause it was easy get kills with. 6. it's a an exotic for the fan fire abilitie not the damage boost. 7.more stability would make the gun even more op its fine as is.

Tlw takes skill- lol. Since when

Shut up.. stop whining about the. It was merged for a reason. It's not bungie fault you have to use the last word 24/7 cos ur an aim assist scrub

Bearbeitet von AquanotSteve: 6/1/2016 12:02:40 AMIt's fine where it is now. Doesn't feel super OP to me anymore. Just ADS and use mobility to your advantage. You can't just walk at people and hip fire anymore. Edit: that being said, I rather like the idea of outlaw, so I don't disagree with you entirely. But the gun is still decent. Unfortunately the only thing that feels exotic is fan fire and the showmanship of the weapon itself.

Clearly people aren't reading my whole essay on the last word lol it's ok though people are still salty about the last word owning them in year 1 time to move on guys quit holding grudges

Here is the problem it can still three shot headshot as can all hancannons. Only under rare and very inconsistent conditions can any handcannons 2 shot. But unlike every other hand cannon its fully automatic. Completely outclassing any other handcannon. If its going to be auto and ment to be fired from the hip there needs to be a draw back. In my opinion the best and least damning drawback would be accuracy at range. Anything outside longer shotgun range should be inconsistent when fanfiring

2 AntwortenIf you want the damage perk back and the ability to two shot me then I want my Thorn back to its glory or I want your hip fire accuracy to be trash.

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von sharkhunter81: 5/31/2016 5:50:17 AMBring back the exotic perk of this weapon. To make a weapons exotic perk of hipfire an ADS weapon to kill anything was a huge mistake on weisnewski's part. A reduction in hipfire damage would've been suffice. He rearranged the weapon all together. It's not exotic and should be made into a legendary. I'm pissed it's even called an exotic. They took it away the perk therefore should be a purple weapon, not gold. FIX IT!

They shouldn't do this but I do agree that they basically made it a legendary hand cannon that can roll full auto. Like hopscotch with reactive reload in year 1.

2 AntwortenAnd bonus hip-fire damage in PvE? It needs a lot of help in PvE.
-
No the weapon is fine where it is.

1 AntwortenNo damage fall out when firing from hip lol alright I'll just hip fire you from across the map. The last word was ridiculous I could easily take down a bladedancer. Agreed it needs to be taken up to at least be able to counter a doctrine of passing though.
There are two ways to buff The Last Word without making it too overpowered. The first is simple: Keep al the nerfs it got with the April update, but allow it to grant bonus damage while hip firing. The second way is to keep it exactly how it is, but replace hip fire with persistence. That way it feels more "accurate" while hip firing rather than aiming down sights.
13 AntwortenAre you kidding? Stop holding onto your filthy meta game.

I like the idea of more stability. I have never hipfired the last word at long ranges, So i dont know how accurate it is. But if its accurate then no damage falloff would be too much.
-
You lost me at no damage fall off from the hip.
