Bungie Weekly Update 12/04/2014:
"In the months to come, your quest to become more powerful will have more avenues that lead to satisfaction. The last thing we wanted was for you to look at your favorite gun or helmet and decide that it had become obsolete. Since the reveal, we’ve read a lot of ideas for how this could have been done better. Your feedback is clear: The time you have invested in your stuff should be respected."
Ooops, nevermind ;)

4 AntwortenThat's about as funny as "see those mountains over there"

I remember this. And I was happy Bungie committed to that. Oh well

1 AntwortenWhy do people still defend bungie
-
I remember reading this! Sad how they COMPLETELY went back on their word.
-
Yeah they are pathological liars at this point

11 Antworten2013 What Bungie said - Every planet in Destiny is larger than Halo: Reach 2014 Release - Each planet is about the size of a few levels in Halo: Reach 2013 What Bungie said: All of this is playable space, I could go there right now but i won't for the sake of time 2014 Release: *walks towards "playable space"* *dies* 2015 What Bungie said: There were 5 months between TDB and HoW. We want to shorten the content gap 2015 What actually happened: Taken King in September 2015 and no expansions until September 2016......

14 AntwortenThis game would be that much better if all Y1 gear was able to be infused and brought up in light. The diversity you would see in gear at that point would be immense and awesome, and that is a scenario I would most eagerly welcome and love to play in. I realize that there were a few legendaries and exotics that stood higher than all others, but a little tinkering could easily have them within the new guidelines Bungie has established in Y2 of slighly less powerful gear.

The most frustrating thing is that we can't do anything to change it. Bungie really doesn't give a shit about pve or what players want
-
Absolute least favorite thing about Destiny. Game released, criticized for not having enough content. Taken King releases, cuts out most of the content that two expansions built up. Logic? None.
-
Bump for shame. Shame on you, Bungoo.
-
Bump. Just looked at my vault and found a Mantle of Perun, Erfrideet Spear and Thorn which would love to be used in this Iron Banner
-
I miss the VOG :(

I wonder how long before this post gets buried or deleted. They don't like us to remember things they have said in the past.

1 AntwortenI want class items without light levels again maybe keep the perks but scrap the light level so that there can be some variety
-
That's why I stoped playing this stupid game and moved on to Dark Souls 3

4 AntwortenI posted this excerpt a while back and it was overlooked. (I know others have posted it before also) Glad to see it gaining some traction. Someone in another thread posted something about games not lasting 2 years with the same old content. There is a difference in the case of destiny. Because of destiny's rng system. A guardian could spend months, literally, looking for a certain item. I.e. icebreaker, gjally, vex mythoclast, a crux. And like some people experienced, have it drop only weeks before it is made irrelevant. One of my favorite helmets for the warlock was the original crucible helmet. Istanu-gnt razor. Just a simple legendary helmet. As well as all the vault of glass armor. The time spent trying to get the armor pieces with the ideal rolls was substantial. While year 2 the grind is definitely not as real for most items. Others are just as difficult to get to drop. Finally got a pair of the shield brothers gauntlets. Crap roll but at least they're 335. Cause 335 matters for the time being.. haha riiiiight! How long until all this time is time wasted? Another point worth making is that any player who has supported this game since the beginning should be able to represent that. And be able to do so with more than just an emblem. Any year one player that acquired year one gear should still be able to strut around looking unique and boss like. Make it upgradeable. It being the previous ttk earned gear. If you've only vog'd or crota'd since ttk. The armor drops with no upgrade ability. Sincerely from a guy who just wants to wear his iron regalia vestments without dropping 15+ light levels

That was back when Bungie cared about PvE. Good times...
