LDR VS 1K
I was wondering what sniper people preferred since both seemed super popular.

My thousands got a better roll but longview with short gaze and hidden hand is my go too at the moment

If I had a well, rolled LDR, I would probably use that over the 1KYS. If I had an LDR PERIOD, I would probably use it over a 1KYS. Sadly, the Vanguard have not determined that I am in need of one (yet).

I really can't win against it not even my op friends and yes I own a god roll thousand yard and still I can't compete with it

I would use ldr if I had the same rolls on it as my 1k...or maybe not. I've used 1k for 8 months without switching so why start now.

I really like the roll on my Tua Hua Yuan; army of one, firefly & explosive rounds. Shoots fast but impact is crap. Between the two, I prefer the 1000yd. I only have one LDR but the roll is meh. I got 4 1000yd's and all seem to feel better.

I voted ldr but that's only because it has the same modle as my favorite sniper of all time. I really miss my spear.

Kind of pointless poll IMO. Of course everyone is tired of 1000-Yard Stare since we've had it for months.

4 Antwortenhonestly, it's mostly going to be perk-based. So the only real comparison you can make is to base-stats. They both have the same impact and rate of fire - which is why people consider them the same "class" BUT - let's look at the OTHER stats. LDR - Range = 68 Stability = 52 Reload = 66 1KYS - Range= 66 Stab = 57 Reload = 62 To me (totally my OPINION) - those two points of Range difference are a complete wash in both PvP and PvE . The slightly Higher Stability of the 1KYS would give it a slight edge in PvP - but is a non-issue in PvE. (my opinion again) It's that reload though, with arms with reload for sniper rifles the LDR feels like it reloads lightning fast to me. This is huge in both PvP and PvE. ....but again, perks can modify ALL of those factors SOOO much. plus it's intended role. a "god roll" PvP sniper looks a lot different than a God Roll PvE one.... Personally - the 1KYS I have equipped on my Warlock right now is a typical "god roll" PvP sniper (sure unflinching could trade into hidden hand, the shortgaze scope might not be as good as the viewtac these days, there's plenty of debate, but it's a PvP sniper either way) the LDR on my titan is a decent PvE gun - firefly, speed reload, but I'd replace the underdog with Triple tap to truly call it a god roll PvE gun. which - the 1KYS on my hunter is also almost a god roll PvE gun, triple tap and speed reload, but I'd trade the hot swap for firefly on this one. Perks - it's all about the perks.

Love my LDR! Short gaze, eye of storm, snapshot, and hot swap. I believe LDR has slightly better stats than the 1k yard stare but in my opinion, the perks outweigh the difference between the two snipers. Which ever one gets the better perk roll is the superior sniper in my eyes

Longbow with Ambush, Quickdraw, and Hot Swap. I have an option for shortgaze but I prefer ambush now. My favorite sniper will always be Party Crasher though...

Haven't had a ldr in yr 2 to have a firm opinion. Like my current 1kys more than my year one ldrs but my yr one ldr rolls were trash.
