Simple and unexploitable idea.
Make a simple system so that when you rank up with the Gunsmith...
Instead of him giving you a gun, he gives you the ability to reroll 1 weapon, 1 time with 3 different rolls just like the weekly bounties he currently offers.
If you like one of the rolls you choose it.
If you don't like any of the rolls you cancel out.
But you cant reuse the reroll. 1 time use.
You cant exploit it cause you can only do 5 bounties a week... period.
That is all

Nah too much work and not worth it, ill be better off actually getting another roll than having to grind for a level up and then hope for RNG to give me something good

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von Soul_Eater_42: 5/24/2016 6:20:41 PMThat type of system doesn't seem like it would really work. Would be a lot of effort for a potentially unsatisfying payoff. 2-3 weeks of grinding for the chance to reroll a weapon, which might end up with worse rolls than it has previously. Would be a waste. A slightly better system would be one where you would give him a gun you want rerolled, with about 60 marks, and visit him on the next Arms Day to pick it up. Like the Foundry weapon order packages you can buy from him, you'll have until Sunday to place the order, and on Arms Day, it'll have 3 rolls to choose from, rather than just the one. Unlike those Foundry Order packages, however, which sit in your weapon inventory, you will receive a Reforge Ticket, which will be placed in the Mission slot, in your item Inventory screen where your Trials Passage and Elders Sigil are kept. If the perks are unsatisfying, you can have the Gunsmith hold on to it until next Arms Day.

1 Antworten2 weeks (minimum) of test weapons for a one-time reroll? Maybe if the chances at getting garbage perks wasn't so high, it would be worth it.

4 AntwortenBearbeitet von Kone19ps: 5/24/2016 2:21:42 PMThe real problem is there are so many garbage perks compared to desirable ones that it isn't even wanting god rolls it's wanting at least something viable. Handcannons for example have a hard time competing already and when I have different rolls on the same model and compare it's night and day when one has a range boost or decent support perk. A limited form of reroll or a better drop system or pruning of perks for weapons could help. But that could limit choice as well so I'm not sure what the best solution would be. The game is so damn stingy I'd say up drop rates of legendaries first and see if that can make up the difference. I shouldn't be getting a specific legendary once or twice in over 6 months.

I agree stops us dismantling our hard earned rewards just cuase they have rubbish perks.

6 AntwortenBump that. More often than not, my Armsday Order becomes L/Marks because of shitty perks. Why not give us the ability to re-roll instead. Its hard enough to get the gun you want, even more so to get the roll you want. Exhumed? WTF?

I agree with this. Another option is having vendor weapons with random rolls. Weekly rotation of weapons to include those that drop from packages (high fixer, zombie, TDYK, Saterine etc...). Perks should be randomized and hidden. You purchase the gun for marks or glimmer, you find out the perks after its purchased. I understand the concept of everyone running the same weapons is not intended. However, if you're not getting the right perks on guns, they are trash....especially fast RoF autos, low RoF pulses, and most specifically, hand cannons.

The other option is to bring back commendations from TDB. Same concept, 1 commendation= 1 reroll with 3 different rolls.

I'd be ok with that While re rolling in house of wolves was insane and I'd prefer it not be repeated, I've stated elsewhere their be ok with a highly restricted capped amount. This would be fine since it takes so long to rank up
