Let's take a look at what made the games P2P so poor for them to decide something like this.
Skill based match making.
Melee fixes.
Damage referee
Attempted fixes on the connection settings. (-blam!-ing failure)
The four main factors in the death of the p2p code, yet it is somehow our fault that the crucible suddenly is this bad.
The main cause of lag is distance. Typically, the closer the host is to you, the better the connection.
We don't need bans on players to lessen lag. That is the complete opposite of the problem. The problem was created by Bungie, now they're punishing players for it.
This is Infuriating. No other company would treat their customers like this.
The company is too lazy to even implement better p2p settings. Forget about content for a week, and fix the connection settings to what it was in y1! Most of the problem would be solved. But they apparently know best. What a joke.
Sign if you want Bungie to stop restricting players for their own mistakes.
People need to realize that It isn't our fault it's getting worse.
It is their servers that decide to connect us in the worst manner possible for the sake of skill.
When our connection is suffering because everyone in the match is. They will inadvertently ban those who don't deserve it.
I believe this is a ridiculous way of dealing with red bars.

Red bars are bad that's pretty obvious people who take advantage of lag should get the ban hammer... I also think that the problem is on bungies side as well they put more of a focus on SBMM then CBMM so we're being matched up with people all over the world and that's cause more lag and that has nothing to do with bad internet connection SBMM can't work with P2P connection game I have 300 Mbps and 150 upload more or less technically I should never lag with a hard wired connection but when I get paired up with someone from Europe or Australia my connection goes from full green to bouncing between yellow and red... Banning people who take advantage of lag is a step in the right direction but look at the real problem its your matchmaking that's causing the problem
