Weapons are broken due to the public, not Bungie

Bare with me for a bit. One thing Bungie and the public doesn't understand is that exotics need to be separated from Legendaries, what I mean by this is every time a weapon rises to be the best (which exotics used to be the alpha class) the people post and rant about it. (It's actually your fault public that certain weapons are the best, due to you all getting everything else NERFED because you hate losing to it and never learning how to counter it and GET BETTER...And be honest that's true) Back in year one exotics were practically a different class of weapon completely, both in perks and potency. This needs to be a factor again. Take gjallarhorn for instance: When that baby dropped you screamed for joy because it was actually really good and back then, only exotics were really good... Exotics need to be rare enough and because of the rare factor need to be potent enough to be different than Legendaries. One should feel exited upon earning one, not "yay I can infuse that into something I'm sure".
Please understand this-Legendaries can be good such as -Felwinters -Prediths revenge -Badger -Fatbringer -LDR5001 And countless year one weapons... But exotics need to be 2-4 steps ahead of Legendaries. one thing that also was a good evening factor was the elemental burns found only on Legendaries, making them unique and different from exotics. Those burn options on raid primaries need to come back.
Now (other than the TOM) all exotics are practically Legendaries and quite frankly Legendaries are outclassing exotics. There is no alpha exotic (it doesn't have to be for PVP) When you earn earn an exotic it needs to be a case where you scream for joy because it's ACTUALLY good. One reason why this is not the case is that Bungie seems to have Thrown the new exotics together in a hurry, and the publics seems to have gotten everything Nerfed so much, nothing is different. last word, thorn, suros, shotguns, and hand cannons would not have been Nerfed if people weren't so sore about getting beat. Here is the way it really is- you lose due to you playing bad and not playing smart (because if you consider yourself a good player, you should be able to counter anything, otherwise you can't call yourself that.) and due to your frustration, you scramble to find something to blame it on, like what I listed. The only reason anything is ever Nerfed is by the publics influence by complaining about it. This is true, take the fusion rifle buff for proof- there was a whole "fusion rifle Friday" and a whole movement which in the whole scheme of things got the job done. Also what about the thorn Nerf? Last word Nerf? Gjallarhorn? Vex? Fusions? Shotguns? It's as easy as this- you want a better gun and are tired of the guns you love getting NERFED? Stop complaining about it and just deal with it, or stop playing (or get better) and let us gamers play with the guns that we love and can counter and stop affecting us with your poor character. To finish, there are a few ways to fix this and make it better again by the next DLC- -Make exotics harder to get, and making them have a distinct difference between Legendaries (or make it such that they're so different you can't compare them, because as for now, the only thing separating an exotic from a legendary is the name "Exotic".) -Make Xur not a factor for getting exotics.(Datto had a video on that) This makes it too easy to get them, it needs to be something you earn from a nightfall or quest. -In the next DLC update remove 3 of coin for multiple reasons such as earning brand new exotics right out of the gate and lots of them. -Make nightfalls relevant and not some strike playlist with no matchmaking. (Remember a nightfall is not a nightfall without the nightfall perk, flaming XP head, or good rewards... Another thing that got nerfed by removal because of players who kept getting returned to orbit because of bad strategy and playing). The public can influence Bungie (can and has) into changing many game mechanics and gear. I'm well aware that in the end Bungie makes the call, but influence is a strong thing and has successfully been effective with Bungie. In reality Destiny would be insanely different and possibly better if the public had not intervened. And hey, if it is in the end Bungie... They're just as bad as the public, if everything needs to be equal than why have class names.
