Well I've ran like 5 games where I've gotten last place every game and at least 20 deaths and have not gotten higher than a .5 kd ratio.. am I a lost cause? I want to be good with crucible, but this could be something no one can help with...
Any help on how to be good?

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von Iyrha: 5/21/2016 3:11:40 PMHold on...there we go. Managed to find an old post I made in response to someone awhile back. Hope it helps.
Here are some more: At the beginning of the game, watch where people go and how they position themselves. If you are trying to get better, pick out the players who look "good" (move around the map fluidly and quickly, avoid open sights, slide into engagements rather than just walking right up, etc.) and do your best to challenge them throughout the game. Yes you are going to die and yes your K/D will suffer, but you can learn from what they do and how they consistently outgun/outplay you. If you are trying to get better with a sniper, ALWAYS CHALLENGE. Yes this sounds weird, since all the players who are worshiped as crucible gods tend to discourage challenging people who are obviously better than you or when your health if low. However, hitting snipes under pressure is an extremely important part of getting better with a sniper, and if you don't practice sniping against good players, you won't learn anything new. Intentionally put yourself in bad situations and give yourself disadvantages. What? Yea, I know it may seem strange, but trust me. Being put in random situations with the odds stacked against you is something that happens to good players ALOT. In fact, most of them do it on purpose (like I am suggesting) because they are confident in their ability to manipulate the situation to their liking and come out on top. Think of it this way, if you are able to consistently pull off 1v3s in close quarters with only a sniper or only a primary, won't it seem extremely easy winning a 1v1? Most importantly, THINK LIKE A TOP TIER PLAYER. I don't care whether you watch videos or streams or listen to podcasts or even just sit next to your friend and watch him hit those crispy domers all day long. You need to get into the mindset of crucible, you need to learn all the angles (this comes with time, be patient guardians), you need to respond to threats quickly and intelligently. If you see three blips on the radar, take a step back. Where are you on the map? Are there any places they could be waiting in ambush? Can you bait them into a choke point so you can get them into a series of 1v1s? Do you have your super? All these things should be of great use to you in your journey to get better at the crucible. Be patient and do your best. I wish you the best of luck, guardian.
The best advice I can offer: Play the meta: all weapons are usable in the crucible but there's always a handful that stand out above the pack. Right now it looks like the "Hawsaw, suros PDX 45, Mida Multi Tool, and doctrine of passing are the top contenders. Find one of those you like and use it. It feels cheap to use the same guns as everyone else but you'll need every advantage you can get in the crucible. Master you gear: have a go-to build you use for crucible. That includes subclass, weapons and armor. Have your setup embedded into your brain. This helps build on your muscle memory and will give you better results over time. Getting familiar with a weapon and knowing what its strengths and weakness are crucial. After that? Check out true vanguard or Mtashed on YouTube. They both have great videos and players of all skill levels can learn something. Best of luck, Give em' hell Guardian.

1 AntwortenWarlocks are the easiest to play IMO after death you can come back to life and throw solar bombs everywhere. You should see an increase in k.d.

It's 90% map knowledge and movement/timing and 10% shooting ability. Learn the maps and how people usually play on them and you'll start to go positive.

2 AntwortenBearbeitet von Tragedy: 5/22/2016 12:33:11 AMJust equip a sniper or a shotgun and ignore primary weapon usage! Everyone is MLG when they do this! LMAO and the extremely sad part is
its fkn true

hate all you want, 90% of the crucible elite wouldn't be shit if they didn't have that sniper or shotgun
Crucible is horrible right now since ToO was cancelled all the try hards and cheats have spread everywhere, plus the rocket bug doesn't help

Well first off I need to get this off my chest that 6 vs 6 is not going to improve your stats. Skirmish is the best way to get better. Another thing is that raging will lead to more deaths. One of the more important factors about Crucible is to learn from your mistakes and how to avoid making them again-regardless of it being you suck at aiming, your weapon perks were not as good, etc. First off, learn your weapons. Fight Dregs or even Randal the Vandals in patrol mode. Get used to aim assistance and recoil pattern. Trust me, that's how I learn to use my Last Word. 2. Get gud rolls. That says all man. Your rolls matters a whole lot. A bad roll means a bad Kdr. 3. Practice in rumble. The shotgunners of rumbles and few good snipes will teach you to make fast and good decisions. Don't be like me who likes to troll with Shotguns and tea bags. Lol 4. After getting used to everything and feeling 15% confident in ur skills. Go to the big boy's league; Skirmish. I get rekt mostly but hey, we all have our bad matches. Good luck guardian.

Almost certainly you have game lag .Remember a broken watch is always correct twice a day.It is virtually impossible to have that low a score unless you just stand there, but then the game will boot you.lf bad game lag it will not boot but you may get message saying "contacting destiny servers". If you are being one shoted by auto rifles then you have lag and should quit and join a different type of game in destiny. You think that player that got 50 kills is good think again.Game lag can give god powers to some players who otherwise would be quite average. I'm about done with destiny 20kills or so one minuit and the next cannot get 5 kills. Most of my kills are now from grenades as they seem least affected by game lag. Garden Zoombies looks good fun but im really waiting for gears of war. Thanx

Honestly.....play rift or control and.....wait for it.....ignore the objective. That probably is going to piss some people off. Get your gun skills down in matches where other people wre distracted with the objective. My k/d was murdered by my first few months of play. It still isnt great but I can do well on certain maps now. Control is a great way to learn the maps. When doing call outs people reference the control zones. Some youtube videos give advice about spending matches just trying to stay alive and getting some kills if you can. Not a horrible way to start.

1. Learn your radar, watch it at all times. 2. Work on consistent head shots. Practice in Pve. Warm up before playing crucible. Learn to strafe and shoot. 3. Learn the maps, know the sniper lanes and when to jump or slide through them. 4. Slow down. Don't run everywhere. Assess and engage when you have the advantage. Disengage when you don't. Don't be afraid to run and find help. (You might lead a chaser into getting team shot). If you die, take a breath and let the counter tick down. Think about what happened and how to not repeat it. 5. Stay with your teammates but don't run into a buzz saw with them. 6. Don't worry about kills yet, just try not to die. The kills will come. 7. Start with control and rift on the dailies. Move to clash then rumble. Then work on 3's. 8. Have fun. If you aren't, what's the point?

2 AntwortenYou need to use the guns the sweaty people use. 1000 yard stare with hidden hand and mida multi tool. Then be really sweaty and camp and hard scope with your 1000 yard stare that has the hidden hand perk. Don't forget to camp and never move around the map engaging people.
crucible has been ruined
7 AntwortenBearbeitet von darowing2: 5/21/2016 4:37:19 PMPlay as hunter, blink and shadestep. If you get a little damage run like a little chicken. Blink shadestep. Hardscope ... blink away. Dont go in battles. Shot only on person if they are not looking at you. Only shoot people in the back. Or in the side. Hide in corners. Camp with shotguns on doors. And never shoot on a person if they had the first shoot. Just blink away ... run always... If you know the maps exactly yoz can blink from one safe spot to the next and hardscope with snipers. Thats the way a console shooter is played. Try to oneshoot you enemy... dont take a risk and run away ...

You need to learn the weapons. Weapons that are beasts in pve may not be decent for you on pvp. For example right now Monte Carlo is a demon in crucible. Wouldn't take that into a raid over a decent scout or pulse. Look for auto rifles or pulse rifles with very high stability and you should be good for a few kills.

I'll leave this hear

Play as a sunsinger and abuse firebolt spam.
-
2 AntwortenGettin gud in crucible simplified. Create Warlock Use sunsinger with flameshield, Viking funeral and touch of flame. Equip TLW, 1k stare with hidden hand and quillims terminus. Every fight toss a grenade to damage them then hit em with a few rounds of your TLW. Follow up with a melee for the kill. The overshield will protect you for other critters in the fight. Repeat as needed.
