Why do I suck?
Please, just tell me. Oh, and how can I get better?
TBH it's just KD. I got my gunskill but it's really my KD that sucks. I'm not bothered about the 1.08 overall but it's headed for a 1.2 which isn't amazing either. I keep getting monthlies of 1.2s so it's going to end up there. Matter of when. Although if I find out how to get a keyboard and mouse working I'll tell y'all. I mean from year 1 I've gone from a 0.79 to a 1.08 and I'm headed to that 1.2 but then where?

Probably one of the hardest things to learn is that it isn't all gunplay. A lot of being good is movement and planning ahead/predicting enemy movements, or even knowing when to run away. Try watching TrueVanguard on youtube. He offers really insightful advice on how to fight in the Crucible. He will often take snippets of his olay and breakdown exactly why he does the things he does , and it cnlan really help the way you think about fights in this game.

2 AntwortenFor me kd doesnt matter. My kd isnt good but im decent at pvp. You could raise ur kd by using thorn and felwinters or shadow of veils. Its scummy but it works. I played 2 games with thorn and shadow of veils and i had to put them away cuz i didnt like how easy it is to snipe or win gun fights.

Bearbeitet von Swarlly: 5/19/2016 12:02:32 AMAll these people don't know the struggle. Generally at all games I am average or slightly above average. I share the 1.2 k/d overall. I've played a lot. What sucks is you have to go out of your way to practice with higher sensitivities and focus on items noted in various crucible school videos. You really have to refine your entire play style if you ever want to get past that 1.2 to 1.3 k/d. We just were not gifted with the ability to think ahead how others do. Nor gifted with great hand eye coordination. So you have to put in a lot of time to train how all the pros tell you. I'm just too stubborn to go teach myself these techniques and put in mad time convincing my brain to continue them. It seems like work and not fun. Could take months for your brain to normalize to these techniques. Just be glad your in this group and not the players who can't break even.

Go delete one of your characters, make a new one and try to get the highest possible KD you can on that character.

1 Antwortenyou my friend, have a condition known as sausage fingers. We, at the Institute now know that its a disconnect between what the player is seeing and when the player taps the button to shoot. It causes the brain to push the button about 0.8s later than when the players reactions kick in. You talents lie elsewhere my friend. Tell me, have you thought about a hobby where reactions are not a factor? Take Masturbation for instance, I'll show myself out :p

Do what your doing but add plan c to the mix for all those shot gun rushers simply switch and shoot, I swear shot gunners hate me.

1 AntwortenXim4 adapter can let you run a kb&m setup but its not an advantage in this game so dont get your hopes up thinking that it will make you better.

3 AntwortenI;m in the top 3% for suicides and I can tell you its hard to intentionally fail, but with proper commitment and lots of practice you too can be matched into a sweaty, or just get rolled every game.

As I get older, my reaction time gets slower and my accuracy gets worse.
