What's your luckiest day in Destiny?
Today, after what seems like a lifetime of trying, I got my first Eyasluna with rangefinder, braced frame, and luck in the chamber.
Then I decided to go try and get a God roll on a 1000 yard... but the cryptarch had only primary and heavy.. so I got a heavy.. it had a higher reload than it did blast radius.. so I got rid of it..
I then proceeded to get a legacy engram from zur and (if I didn't already have the blueprints for it I would have been so happy) I got a helm of saint 14.
So after collecting my cryptarch package I found that I had received a legendary secondary.. so I thought to myself. I still have a chance. So what happens? I decrypted it...
I got a sniper, may have not been the one I necessarily was going for, but I still wanted it..
The zen meteor.
Now I know what some of you may be thinking. 1, this guy sucks and even though I've never met him, I already hate him. 2, dude I've never had that luck before. 3, I already have really good guns, so I don't care. 4, good for you man, I'm happy that you've finally got what you wanted. And 5, is he here only to gloat and rub it in people's faces?
Well to that last part, no, no I'm not. I came here to ask you one question.
What's the luckiest day in Destiny you've had so far?
This would come in second for me, right after the day I got 3 hawkmoons in year 1.

2 AntwortenI was doing some King's Fall and someone went to go feed their dogs right after daughters so we waited to start Oryx. Some guys were jumping around or afk, but I went to go finish my clue scroll and I got a third-age platelegs, black d-hide chaps and a rune scimmy. And then we turned off our huds and played hide and seek until he came back.

1 AntwortenMy was the day I decrypted a legendary engram into my first Gjallarhorn. I just started laughing when it happened because we just finished VoG and I only got shards and another Praedyth's Revenge and the engram dropped from a random minotaur right before Atheon. Too bad I have not had any moments like that in Y2. Good times. LOL

1 AntwortenI was the guy to always get shards and shaders from every raid back in y1. So after like 5 goes, getting Vex Mythoclast before all my friends was pretty sweet. Also I got a beast roll on my Red Hand IX back in the day. It was probably the best hand cannon I've ever had.

6 AntwortenWouldn't say it was luck, but the very first week of Trials. 8-0 passage, no mercy, and we were losing 4-1. Changed tactics and we came back 5-4. Last round was a clusterfu[b]c[/b]k of supers, where it was ended by a fist of havoc to a self resurrect.

2 AntwortenProbably a tie between getting the fatebringer, ice breaker, and gally same day or hitting 335 on all 3 characters day after reset and being ranked 5th in the world for light level ^_^

3 AntwortenWhen I was doing the nightfall and I told my friend this is the day, and on my warlock I got Gally and on my hunter I got Ice Breaker on 2 runs of the nightfall in a row

1 AntwortenLast year I switched to a four 10-hour shift work week with Friday off. The first Friday I had off also happened to be my birthday. Naturally I played Destiny. I was on Recruitment looking for a raid group when I saw a post offering to take people into the gorgon chest cp. I joined and got mats on my main. I switched to my alt, re-joined and got my first Gally from the chest. My fiancée, now wife, gave me a funny look that night when I paused after she asked me which of my birthday presents was my favorite lol.
