After them just basically saying "we're done" and only work on microtransaction stuff to get the sheeple to spend money on emotes.....emotes people. I know, ridiculous.
After those 2 "dlcs" which were really crappy and had little content to offer us, I'm surprised people out there still support this kind of behavior from a gaming company. I feel bad for the parents that waste money on this game because their child wants to do the thriller dance a couple dozen times to show off even though no body cares because they know that spending silver on this game is one of the stupidest things you could do. You could easily blend that money up and drink it and get more value out of it than buying an emote.
It's sad that people are so brainwashed into thinking that what I've said is somehow incorrect. The proof of what I'm saying is Destiny...Destiny is my proof.
Edit: Not 1 single person yet has come up with a good excuse to continue liking a game that does so little for it's community. It's like watching a bunch of mindless dogs bark at a wall.
Edit 2: Man you guys are really boring me, I can't find anyone who has a good reason as to why they're still playing this game. This shows that you guys actually agree with me.
Edit3: Over 24 hours later and still no legit reasonable excuse for still playing this game. I'm actually really disappointed.
Edit4: Important edit! Someone found an actual legit reason to still like this game. Here is the quote: "It's literally an addiction for some people. The loot hunt is equivalent to gambling.". Only took 30 some plus hours for someone intelligent to come along.

I still enjoy it. I like to veg out on strikes. Getting together with friends for raids. I like micro-managing my gear. Someday, I might be over it - but not today.
-
1 AntwortenFriends inviting me to play. Honestly.

I really enjoy the shooting mechanics and COE is quite fun (never played prison previously). Came back for the April update and have enjoyed my time back with the game, but the new update has worn thin again going back to boring grinding for 335. Was fun while it lasted. I'll have another break and wait for more content again.

I wake up and click the "like" button in my head. It keeps the game fresh. In all honesty, it's a fun game. I certainly can't give it the attention I used to. But, it's fun to keep coming back to every now and again.

8 AntwortenI play for this mythical reason called having fun.
-
Because there is a thing called fun, and some people find it in this game
-
Because they have the will to like whatever the hell they want?

Bearbeitet von Warpsin: 5/16/2016 2:02:19 AMIs fun not a legitimate reason? And answer me this. Why isn't it a legitimate reason.

Tldr- nope

Fun Gunplay Fun Whatever you feel like playing, it has. Fun Memorable guns Fun End game with Mechanics And.....fun

I like to rub one out while watching my team kill every thing in strike playlists. It really keeps things fresh.

2 AntwortenHow about answering this question: Why do you care how other people spend their time or money?
-
-
It's fun
-
Ya know, most people that don't like a game usually don't play that specific game and try another one.
-
Youre so right, thankyou for waking me up. Ive been playing this game, just for fun, i should really be playing a game from a develepor that cares about their players, ill switch to... wait, bungie is constatntly updating this game with improvements and listenening to community ideas, and im having fun. Who are you to judge what i think is fun?
-
Hey can somebody tell this guy what fun is? I think he forgot that people have that sometimes when playing video games.
Also,to answer your question, because i dont burn myself out on the content and keep playing regardless of enjoyment like a considerable amount of the player base; not most, not nearly all, just considerable. You dont have to accept any of the answers given to you, because it wont matter. Liking something isn't objective. So a "good reason" doesn't mean much, especially since you wont accept any that are simply through enjoyment of the game.
I enjoy running around with friends and killing little alien assholes.

9 AntwortenBearbeitet von FromNowOn: 5/13/2016 9:26:50 PMBefore I mute your pathetic ass, I just want to let you know how sad and meaningless your life is. You CLEARLY have nothing better to do than to troll the bnet forums and attempt to gain the tiniest most pathetic slice of satisfaction from telling others that what they enjoy isn't justified. Do you understand how unbelievably sad and pathetic that is?? Honestly... I don't even have the slightest inkling of anger towards you, or saltiness, I'm not going to take a defensive stance... Y'know why?? Because all I have is pity. Sadness and pity for a soul who is clearly depressed and unsatisfied with their life... If you need this kind of affirmation and reassurance from strangers over the Internet, you NEED help. Psychological, behavioural HELP. I wish you the best of luck, Guardian. Please seek the correct help and improve your quality of life.
if you reply to this I won't see it, but if you reply with "I have a life, a girlfriend (or wife, or husband), a job, etc, etc, I AM satisfied with life".. Then I would call you liar. Even if you have all the components that make a great life, you must be unsatisfied with it to come here and attempt to bash a video game (lmfao) and call out its players for enjoying themselves... Not only is that textbook depression, I'd say it's even bordering on sociopathic behaviour. PLEASE SEEK HELP.
Game's just fun sometimes, thats all
-
I play it because I like screwing around with friends. And if you don't find that a 'legit excuse' then obviously you take video games way too seriously. Doing things like No HUD hide and seek in the tower or mayhem clash ability kills only is why I still play
-
Lol no one can play a game anymore just because they enjoy it I guess. They gotta have some complicated reasoning.

Bearbeitet von xxx: 5/15/2016 11:54:29 PMI enjoy playing the game. I find it relaxes me & I also like the scenery. I have also paid for an emote. I liked it, I wanted it because it made me laugh & it was my money to burn. I understand where you are coming from, but seriously Hoss, I bet if you started naming things you like, enjoy doing or watching, you would find a lot of people who ask you the same questions & dismissed your reasons for not being "legit". Who cares why someone likes something that is not hurting other people, there are a lot of terrible things out there that are a lot worse than people liking a game you no longer care for.

I like Pvp because it's challenging for me...I know there are god players out there that eat Doritos n game all day...some are normal people I guess... I hate and can't stand that devs nerfed everything...they nerfed guns, weapon perks, ability perks, ammo we can carry, supers, grenades, reputation, motes, coins, elemental primaries, etc....why the hell would u make us so powerful and a year later totally nerf is to shreads....lol... all guns and most abilities feel so underwhelming now...us guardians use to be so powerful when game dropped and now the pace of play (Pvp and Pve) is so slow... another thing I hate is that raid weapons are the worst guns in the game...retarded right? End game guns are just used for infusion...vault guns were all awesome...all of them! Well with all that said I still like the competition in Pvp cause I'm not a god pvper...all the casuals pretty much moved on and left and only try hards or die hard destiny fans are left... I don't raid anymore...who wants to do the same raid for a year straight? To get same rewards n terrible guns...na lol...

I find it fun. What else do you need?

It is the one game that everyone on my friends list had. I met plenty of new friends and people playing. If Destiny did one good thing, it was that
