Okay, I am past done. Whatever you did at Bungie with the latest "tweaks" has made Crucible worse than ever. How do I know this you ask?
Well, generally I am a 3+ K/D player. And as of a few days ago ALL my matches have been sweaty no scratch that soggy. So sweaty they are soggy. SBMM has so obviously been re-instituted with a vengeance it is not even funny.
Today I played against the same players almost all day. My K/D is in a tailspin, it takes years to find a match.
Some of these players are from Sweden. I AM IN CANADA, why am I getting people from Sweden???
I want to relax in the Crucible not sweat all day playing super passive games. I am all for having close games and matches but it's strenuous every single game against yellow and red bars.
Rant over/ add more rants. SBMM is a cancer.

3 AntwortenAnd in a non sweaty match, against "scrubs" like me, what kd do you pull?
-
1 AntwortenI am a sweaty player and really want to increase skill with NLB so I was enjoying playing elimination with same level player which actually challenged me for a little bit. Got a nice 10 kill streak using it, so job well done. Didn't experience massive amount of lag like you, fortunately. Sorry you hate it so much
-
1 AntwortenFor starters I'm in Canada too and have been getting great connections. Second, I wouldn't go yelling on a mountain top that you had a 3 k/d and then sbmm was implemented and it's in a tailspin. What that means is that you really aren't a 3 KD player when matched against people of roughly equal skill. A chunk of that 3.0 was padded by being matched with some less skilled players who probably weren't having very much fun. What's the beef with being challenged? It's how you get better. And would you rather have a 3.0 K/D that is relatively meaningless or have a K/D that is more reflective of your actual skill? Personally I don't really care, my K/D is beyond redemption, and I'm not the biggest fan of PvP anymore.

Awww diddums

1 AntwortenEveryone understands what's involved with sbmm...the wait time bitching is hilarious...nonpoint. I suck and the wait times are ridiculous. I love the sweaty stuff since that's all I've ever encountered. Now, however, I'm not getting destroyed every other game. I have never played pvp before Big D. Didn't even know it existed. I'm still learning tbh. SBMM has lead to a higher average of competitive games v. crazy curbstomped games. Plus, the stupid (semi) worthless shattz bounties, which are tough on kd for many players, become feasible for below average guardians like me. The top 5% don't rule the game. Witness nerfing; I hate every bit of it. But Bungo listens intently to complaining.

5 Antwortensays he has a 3.0 K/D doesn't link account... reported for liaring.
-
Couldn't agree with you more SBMM is obviously in matchmaking and the connections are the worst they have EVER been.
-
1 AntwortenOp translation: whaaa I'm a sad cry baby who only wants to play weaker players to protect a kd that means nothing because I can't defend it against equal peers.
-
7 AntwortenSo you suddenly found out that your 3.0+ KD was acquired against Crucible noobs and now when you face some good players you resort to crying and calling others sweaty. Did you call yourself sweaty when you were pub stomping the noobs? It's funny how people would like to win all the time and call others names when they lose. Or the best excuse of them all:
Blame the lag!!
-
Destiny's multiplayer is p2p which makes SBMM a joke. A lot of idiots don't understand this. You think SBMM is ok without dedicated servers? Many of you have a lot to learn.
-
4 AntwortenIs there a problem facing people whose skill levels are roughly around yours? I've never seen the fun in pub stomping, but it seems that people who play Destiny can't get enough of it.
-
2 AntwortenCan Confirm. The only way to play is to sweat. If you want to have fun in a game I suggest runescape.
-
8 AntwortenIn other words, OP wants to boost his k/d by playing against low skill players all day, revelling in the pub stompings he's given them. SBMM is there so that all players have a fair chance at winning matches and completing quests. Not all of us are as godly at pvp as you are.
-
Its kind of sad, but Bungie needs to cater to the biggest amount of guardians possible (average players) so they dont quit playing all together. Which kind of sucks for the above average players who put in the time to be better. But Bungie literally doesn't care about those players hence why sweats have to be co-ordinated and not custom gamed.
-
I don't know when people are going to understand that they don't cater to elite players. That's not where the money is for them. Sorry, but it just isn't. They only represent a tiny fraction of the people who spent money on the game.
-
1 AntwortenI'm actually enjoying the Crycible for a change. Before I would just get stomped on over and over, and that's no fun coz I'm shit at PvP. Now I'm being put in matches with other people at my level and its fun, and I'm enjoying it Try seeing things from other people's perspective for a change, we're not all PvP Gods and its about time you guys get match made with your own kind. Time to put your so called PvP skills to the test against real opponents instead of playing easy mode and pub stomping lesser able players.
-
Omg... So you actually had to face people with your own skill😲... I feel so bad for you...
-
Don't you hate it when the other teams shoot back.
-
I am tired of posting this SBMM WAS NEVER AND WILL NEVER BE REMOVED
-
Seen some weird teleporting mother-blam!-ers but sbmm is still an improvement. I don't care about wait times between matches either...nonpoint.

5 AntwortenBearbeitet von Ve7n00m: 5/13/2016 6:43:22 AMI was all for SBMM, until last night!!! EVERY SINGLE GAME I'm up against -blam!-ing wizards that can teleport behind me, that can shoot me through walls, that can spawn kill me 3 times in a row (the same -blam!-ing dude, probably has absoluteluy nothing to do with SBMM but still ARRRRGH!), that can withstand 3 headshots from my Neutrino LSM and still manage to somehow get close enough to me to apparantly 1 shot melee me when I'm full heath and full shield! I'be been thinking about Bungie lately, about this community, about how much the players love/want to love Destiny, about all the great ideas for this game that I read on these forums, about all the intuitive ways to make the game better and I laugh, I laugh -blam!-ING HARD!!! Cozmos little community wish list should be renamed to Cozmos community stall list. Let's put all the great things the players want added to this game in a list and then implement the ideas that really don't make a difference AT ALL! Just throw a little meat once in a while, to keep the wolves at bay!!! Let's look at the things that are wrong with this game, let's do PVE first...... Loot and RNG! - People -blam!-ing hate it, it's HEAVILY weighted to give you absolute crap 98% of the time! Any smart person knows that eventually people move on to more rewarding things, as a lot of players I; and I'm sure most of you know, have done! If I've got a 335 bond equipped there's NO -blam!-ING WAY I should get below 334 bonds from 4 Cucible packages in a row, 2 Faction packages in a row and 3 Variks ranks up in a row!! The level of inteligence behind this system is down right idiotic! The fact that it hasn't been addressed after nearly 2 years is appaling! You don't get a dog to do tricks by giving him nothing! Cheaters and kickers! - Praise where praise is due Bungie, you banned PVP players for cheating in Trials/PVP, BRAVO! Now how about you do something about the ass hats that boot people from activities, because it's still a problem! Other than content and the lack of any real creativity within it aside, that's pretty much all that PVE has wrong with it, unless you wanna talk about economy which to be honest would just bore the shit out of me! Now on to PVP...... LAG - Constant red bars, it's a daily thing, it's all over the forums! Assumingly caused by SBMM, people don't want it, people don't like it! Why is it still a thing??? Isn't a game; after you've expunged your creativity into code and design, for the players? This game is anything but 'for the players', so who is it for Bungie, you? Us? Who? Reading the forums would give you clear indication that the majority of Destinys player base is not happy with how PVP is right now, you constantly nerf and buff things, ruining PVE favourite weapons in the process. Have you ever heard of segregation? It used to be a bad thing, many many years ago but for Destiny it would be an extremely well received addition to your game! Finding balance in PVP shouldn't affect PVE! There's so much more that could be said, these are the main issues that I see brought up on a regular basis on the forums! The question that we should ask you, that you SHOULD answer is, why aren't these things being addressed? DO YOU JUST SIMPLY NOT CARE? Or is your collective mouth just being moved by Activisions far reaching arm up your arse?

3 AntwortenSBMM is designed to produce a 50% win and 50% lose experience. They are improving the algorithms to better predetermine matches as they collect more data. This was addressed in an interview months ago.
-
SBMM is cancer, AIDS, and whatever other bad disease you can think of rolled into one. Honestly, it is ruining the crucible for me and other people who consider themselves good. Every match I play solo is sweaty af and it gets old really quick. CBMM doesn't protect the weaker players, that much is true. However I was absolutely terrible when I started playing and I got better by playing against people better than me. There were times where I'd get my shit pushed in but who cares? I learned by playing better people and doing what I saw them do. As a compromise between the two, make the lobby by connection and split the teams by skill (or rankings in the future if we ever get those). Idk how skill is determined in the game right now, but my idea is having the #1 player in the lobby be on one team and the #2 and #3 would be on the other. Then the #4 would be on the same team as the #1 to kinda balance it out assuming the #1 and #4 can equal the #2 and #3 in terms of points/kills and it continues down the line with the other players. Idk it's just a thought.
-
There isn't an easy answer. I don't want heavily imbalanced teams but sbmm is way annoying too.

1 AntwortenI know just what you're talking aboot....
