Shotgunning isn't "Easy": Anyone claiming this is a bit lost
Yes. Aiming the gun is easy
Yes. The range can be annoying
Yes. Almost anyone can use it effectively from day 1
But being a GOOD shotgunner isn't easy. Top tier shot gun players have immense skills in movement, pressuring opponents, and split second decision making.
I'm not defending shotgunners because I am one. Most people who know me, know that I snipe 99% of games. But it's kind of bullshit to discredit the skill set of another player.
I personally find using shotguns effectively very hard due to my passive nature, so when people make the statement that they take "no skill"... well I must just suck really bad. Right?
Watch the video, actually listen to my argument, then debate it all you want.

8 AntwortenNothing is easy...everything takes at least some skill, that's just what salty people say about guns that kill them....it's usually snipers that say shotguns are easy, and shotgunners say sniping is easy....if it's so easy why don't they use said "easy" weapon, imo the only easy weapons are heavy weapons....peace!! If you have shadestep and use your primary most of the time then shotguning can work and no land with a shotty is a good combo

Thanks for the respect mt. I consid er myself a shotgun pro. I run double shotgun pretty much 99% of the time. And most of my pvp kills are shotgun or ar. Put a sniper in my hands and I'm done lol. I did recently get the dead orbit sniper with kind of an iron sight and am trying to get better with snipers. That type of sniper fits better with me. So to you snipers. Kudos to you. Everything takes skill, but the nr.1 reason I find shotties annoying is the current slow TTK of primaries. I can unload into a shotty rusher, but generally he takes me down with him at the very last moment.

You're the man. Rarely do people take pride in our community's skills with certain weapons. Sometimes people need to quit getting salted when they get killed and just say "dam, nice shot guardian."

2 Antwortenthey both take no skill, but out of the 2, I'd say sniping takes less skill. All you have to do is sit at the very back and hardscope every corner, and they snipers are so easy to use you never miss.

I'm sorry but you were lumping firebolts into that as well and it's just not right. Alright it might take skill and it'll take time to understand how warlocks move and get comfortable with it but firebolt grenades while buffed with class perks don't take any sort of getting used to. In fact you can relax how hard you try with them because of how easy placement is for these things.

A top tier shotgun user with a high kd will always be more respected than any high kd sniper. Considering the fact that you have eventually use your primary as a shotgun user compared to snipers to only using their primaries to blint you. Shotguns are in a good spot, snipers are still broken in this game. Props to you on the video, I don't like Much of your newer content because I feel like you try too hard. But ya

Once you get into a shotguns effective one hit kill range, aiming it properly and getting a one hit kill is easier than a sniper, obviously. NOW, getting into that range before you get killed, that is what CAN be difficult. Knowing when and when not to push can be very difficult against smart opponents.

I mainly use my primary, which I prefer to be something with range on it, but I carry a shotgun for those moments when things get too close. I agree it takes skill to use a shotgun. Ive gottena good number of kill sprees with them, but as soon as I decide to be aggressive with one, it usually ends quickly.

I went from sniping for the past few months to shotgunning and saw it was a lot easier and ended up getting almost twice the kills I'd normally get. (I used to be a very good shotgunner from TDB though)

I totally agree on the subject by the way, but good shotgunning is very hard to do, even though it's very annoying to get killed by a rushing shotgunner

Of course is shotgun need skill... It's pretty hard to be good shotgunner But sniper take more skill then shotgun... (Im shotgun user) and im not bad with shotgun im pretty good but not pro...
