How well did that go? I literally haven't heard anything else about it from anywhere since April. It's far behind Destiny on Twitch as well
Btw, not bad-mouthing the game because I haven't played it. It's just that so many people came to the forums talking down because we play Destiny & that Division was better in every way yet hasn't survived long.

Can't blame people for falling to marketing nonsense. Do you remember Destiny's "playable terrain", "epic story" and "living world with weekly events"?

2 AntwortenCod infinite warfare will kill destiny
b8
1 Antwortendestiny is like sunbreaker over hype at first then blah , very rarely some players play it and destiny is like sunsinger, came before sunbreaker but still popular
-
It was a whole list... Eso, halo, cod, batman, mortal combat, division, dark souls 3, battlefield.. And list goes on, just like destiny
-
Ah, well you see its now gonna be over watch or doom. People are so desperate for this game to fail!
-
Once you play MMOs long ago, you yawn when you hear this stuff. Maybe Division will be the WoWkiller. Maybe it won't. Whatever. Probably not.
-
Destiny: in space everyone can hear you magic. The Division: A tramp with a gun is still a tramp.

5 AntwortenBearbeitet von KLGChaos: 5/9/2016 9:29:14 AMDivision was a lot of fun... until the buggy, near non-existent end game. They have this beautiful sandbox of a city to play in with absolutely nothing to do in it once you get the collectibles. It's empty and lifeless. Add in all the bugs and exploits, add in the terrible Dark (aka griefer) Zone and the end game is just ruined. The skills are poorly balanced as well. Some are pretty much useless end game because they get destroyed or hacked far too easily.

Destiny just has suicidal tendencies. Destiny likes to live on the edge. ...someone help Destiny.

1 AntwortenI fell in love with the division as soon as it launched and I still play it every so often.. But the amount of bugs in the game led to a massive (lol) number of exploits of the endgame content. Most people are already at a gear score they are content with and are just waiting for the new Incursion coming this month, or the full sized Underground expansion coming in June.

4 AntwortenDivision can't even fix the bug where your gun points a random way when you are shooting (your teammates on your screen) Doesn't change much but I find it pretty annoying seeing a teammate shot off into no where but the enemy dies
-
2 AntwortenThe only fact I would like to point out is that Destiny DID NOT kill The Division. MASSIVE UBISOFT killed the Division.

Bearbeitet von jaguar_god33: 5/9/2016 4:10:50 PMI don't play The Division, but in their defense, the game wasn't a Destiny killer partially because it is so buggy and hacker-friendly, and because Destiny players are more than satisfied with grinding for "new" gear and light levels than actual new content. It is hard to pilfer a fan base when all you have to do to entertain them is raise the light level a few points, and add in some weapons that you previously vowed not to update because you wanted players to experience new gear rather than use their old favorites as a clutch forever. I'm one of those players that I am talking about, so I'm not throwing shade at anyone, just posting an opinion. I look forward to immersing myself into Uncharted 4 for a while, and I may try Witcher 3 as well. Destiny is fun for a few hours per week doing Nightfalls and CoE on all 3 characters, but beyond that it is just back to the usual drudgery.

It's a great game that is a lot of fun. But, there is only so many times I can run those SAME routes in the DZ. Game is boring as -blam!-, havent played in weeks.
-
Pretty sure division dead no matter the fanboys saying. I play both but divisions better. And the hater are to busy playing division. No my friend who no life division for 2 and a half weeks and hasn't played division since. (Wait he did after division got a update on the 12 and came back to destiny real quick. Tells me about major bugs and people getting banned for it. Plus huge unbalanced "PvP" if it has anything.

1 AntwortenI totally agree however, I think (at least for me) overwatch is gonna kill Destiny. I just love that game so much and I truly have fun while also being competitive. I'll probably hop on every once in a while tho.
-
1 AntwortenI would say it was a near run thing. If The Division had more variety in the game - at the very least, Central Park, Rikers Island, Staten Island, etc. It might have pulled it off. Heck, moving inland to head off spreading instability would have been cool. They needed more variety in enemy types and more variety in game environments.
-
One of the most boring repetitive games I ever played
-
You haven't heard from them because they're playing the Division right now.
-
Lag/ P2P killed a big part of Destiny. I think that 90% of my friends quit Destiny because of that. And i'm quitting Destiny slowly, too. Just because it's not stable enough. It's the only connection FPS that i have played in years.
-
1 AntwortenThere are literally masses playing the Division right now. I guess if you ask them they might say Destiny is indeed dead. Year 1 Destiny was definitely better than the Division. But since the Division has come out I have only played Destiny maybe 3-4 times to do daily bounties, etc.

Any objective-minded person would have told you that it was good, but not Destiny-good. It was fun leveling up the first time. With that said, as soon as the update came out, it felt like a complete rinse and repeat. You had to grind your azz off for gold's pre-update only to have them drop all over the place afterwards, but now they're useless compared to the teal colored things. People complain about feeling like each expansion made their progress a waste of time in Destiny, but it was nothing next to Division. All of the re-grind may have been all well and good, but at least in Destiny, the core of the game is fun on its own - i.e., you don't so much mind the grind because its fun to play at its core. The Division is just.. kinda fun at its core, so the re-grind is far more strenuous. I never even attempted the Incursions because my interest was completely gone shortly after playing the update.

Divisons trash

1 Antworten
so many people came to the forums talking down because we play Destiny & that Division was better in every way yet hasn't survived long.
Those people disappeared when they kept falling through the Swiss cheese maps in the Division's challenge modes. Destiny 2's first raid is going to be a rescue mission. I'm joking, relax.

3 AntwortenI'm wondering what happened to all the Dividiots.
