If been playing destiny alot and the lag is incredibly bad in pvp and pve.
Bugs in the kings fall raid and dying out of nowhere need a quick fix.
Pvp is filled with lag(switchers) especially ToO is almost unplayable.
The only way to go flawless is with luck (not encountering cheaters or bad lag(switchers) or if you're cheating yourself.
Melee attacks aren't registering just like supers and bullets because of red bars dominating the crucible.
THE GAME IS LOSING IT'S FUN TO PLAY!!!!!
#Bungie fix your f#%@ing game!!!

They may be lagging intentionally or unintentionally. Deliberate lag is very easy to implement since most strive for a great connection leaving those without able to lag with benefit. However, recently Bungie started an attempt to impair the rewards of a bad connection. That may or may not have been successful, only time will tell. Network lag is inherent, but, peer to peer exaggerates the effect. Dedicated Servers equalize the advantages and disadvantages across the platform so that there is no advantage to your connection being 'poor' strategically. Bungie decided to ignore this 'modern' technology and implement 'peer to peer' instead. Result, mandatory lag. It's pointless to play a competition where we each see a different opponent location than what the opponent sees. Imagine if this were Tennis and we were playing a doubles match. We would look like idiots trying to hit a ball that the other 3 players saw in a slightly different location in time. Well, now, add guns! It's just a big joke now. I get a better score switching to WiFi mid match, then brag about my stats. Or changing my router settings or adding a 'interrupt circuit', or something else. I simply stopped all PVP in Destiny since January. Others have made competitive games in a way they the competition is between player skill at playing, not skill in manipulating the system to appear as a great player. Destiny is a game where my network skill determines my stats, and I refuse to cheat to appear better. So, I simply refuse to play PVP... Sad really, an empire built on sand! An entire game designed around the most inefficient connectivity system ever designed. An idiot couldn't be that stupid! But, then..

Let me guess... You have an up speed of at least 50mb, and a down speed around 30mb... I bet your ping is around 30... It's called latency
-
12 AntwortenIf you have a hard time hitting them, they too have an equally hard time registering hits upon you. It's latency, not likely to be lag switchers, they are not that prevalent.

Or maybe i cheat according to your logic.

1 AntwortenDo you not read updates before posting?

You can thank SBMM for that

If you have problems in pvp and pve. Maybe it's your connection causing the issue. I rarely have pve issues and when I do it's created by one person on fire team.

I had 2 guys lag switching in a normal control match a couple of days ago. As soon as we got up by 500 points, they'd lag out. Once their team was up by 2000 they'd be normal again.

Cheating in PvE, what hath you say sir
-
13 AntwortenIt is more a server issue, I believe. It is bad on the weekends, but get on during normal school /business hours or really late at night, during the week & it becomes a joy to play.
