Some mates and I decided to do trials for laughs and the gold tier. Nothing to serious. We went up against some guys who were clearly better than us. We got stomped. Nothing new. After we were done, one of then sent just me a message saying that we suck and need to quit. So apparently there a police in the game now to decide who can play and who can't? Lovely times it is.
Cheers all.

I would love to find these people, get MY team together and absolutely obliterate them. Beating a team in trials is fun, no need to send arrogant messages to people you beat. Not trying to say I'm part of the Elite or something stupid like that, I actually play crucible casually when I do play it. But all I'm saying is my team has gone flawless in trials Year 1 every week through year 2 on all characters, Year two a few weeks every week after TTK, 'til we got bored of trials, all usually on the first try. Also, I've noticed good players in the game are usually modest when it comes to winning/losing with the occasional "GG" here and there.

Well he must of struck a nerve.

Bearbeitet von THEL04F: 5/9/2016 4:20:25 PMI've only been flawless once. But we had 10mins left on our last game before weekly reset time. Nerves were very high. We won three rounds really quickly but time was ticking and we weren't sure if we would make it to the chest in time. Then from nowhere the other team forfeit the game and leave. It was amazing and Im so grateful to them for it. When we reached the chest the timer had 2 mins left. Amazing.

5 AntwortenBearbeitet von DMGRGN: 5/9/2016 3:20:21 PMAny activity that's billed as hilghly competitive, like Trials, is going to attract that kind of mindset. There are going to be highly skilled people who want to test themselves against other highly skilled people for the challenge, and that's cool. But there will always be that subset that needs the ego gratification of being "better" than the other guy, and only plays to stomp on as many people as possible. Just the nature of the game, brother.

3 AntwortenI hate these posts because it reminds me of the ugly truth to my favourite playlist. Trials players can be jerks. I'm serious about Trials. Really serious. Carries on my channel, call-outs, try hard, weapon metas. I do everything I can to win and I don't apologize for that. But I send out GGs when I get beat and am generally a good sport. I wish more people were like that I guess, some guys are assholes. As if this guy went out of his way to insult you. That's ridiculous. Sorry OP.

Yes, this happens to me and my friends more often than not, we play trials to learn new tricks for crucible play, and over time we have improved slowly, but do we have any expectation to be top tier? No, we don't put the time and effort in to have a real chance, and I for one, just don't have the speed/flexes to be a top trials player... it is not something I worry about. A game, geez. But at least once a month I get a very nasty message from some one that is some how pissed off because me or my friends don't meet their standard play? Really? Tea-bagging is one thing. But sending nasty, in appropriate communication, another. The lack of maturity among some Destiny players, is really surprising.

Played Trials once, did decent and went Flawless, never again. Just not my type of game mode and play style, some players are Elitist pricks and rewards are mediocre at best. I don't understand how people can play this every day for the duration of each weekend. People say that PvE is too repetitive but nothing can be more stale than the Crucible. Maps suck, spawns suck, ammo drops suck and every meta to date has sucked. Call me the sour one of the batch but you really can't deny that the Crucible has always sucked from the start. SBMM has made it even worse now.
My body is ready....
Bearbeitet von Benolan: 5/9/2016 2:27:43 PMWelcome to the internet, where anonymity convinces people to replace common courtesy with desperate attempts to find self importance through fleeting moment of 'achievement', and to celebrate them through unadulterated assholery. Speaking of which, you have forgotten the obligatory "OMG, we're trending! This is the best day of my life!" edit.

2 AntwortenI hate when you send somebody a "Gg" message because clearly the played a good game and it was fun no matter the outcome. And they reply " Congrats" or "Not worth it" Like some pompous asshole... Like there is a reason for you to be arrogant or big headed over somebody telling you that you played a fairly well game.

1 Antwortensame thing happened to me. asked me in broken ass wannabe thug english if i even kill bitch. so i responded with do you even english ?. told me he didnt care. i then told him that was why his biggest accomplishment in life would be playstation and to piss off. point being this is all these tools have in life. makes them feel better about accomplishing nothing in the real world.

9 AntwortenOf course it is! I made a post about how to improve trials yesterday. Out of the 600 replies, at least 50% of them either spouted out "git gud", bragged about their k/d's, insulted other people's k/d's, downright argued with the entire player base, or just straight said "muted" Some people take Trials wayyyyy too seriously!

yes, some humans are assholes

Full of this too!! https://youtu.be/rQfRP1k-AK0

My friends and I were doing the "His eye upon you" bounty, so we just kind of messed around the entire time. We got maybe 1 win out of it, but we were pulling shit like swords only, melee only, speaking only in grunting noises, etc. Funniest shit ever, would ruin KD forever again.

>Enemy is 330+ 330+ 310-ish >"Oh look who is getting carried lmao." >Enemy does well in first round >Little Light bags >Completely utterly shat all over enemy henceforth. Taunt with an emote, I'll laugh, and maybe commend you for the kill. Bag? GG. Just signed away your right to winning against me.

Block em, mute em, find their account in destiny forums, mute em and report for harassment and all that applies.

So, did you quit yet?

unfortunately the PVP aspect of many FPS and FPS type of games are usually littered with immature people who forget many people don't sit in PVP every day practicing. my PVP in destiny usually consists of maybe the weekly PVP events, maybe iron banner, and my 3 lighthouse runs, but for the most part i stay out of PVP. that's mainly due to the connection issues being so aggravating as opposed to the feeble minded children who teabag you as if they had outgunned you in some sweaty shootout or outclassed you in a close quarter battle when in reality they just shotgunned you in the back while you're fighting 2 or 3 other players. you will never escape it, we all know dang well some players are just neglected angry little children who feel the need to teabag everybody they kill or send hate messages to spread their negativity
