It's in the Activision/Bungie contract. But it also says Destiny 2 will be on PC.
Edit 1: for those who can't think 1.1 steps ahead or do some simple math...
XBOX 720 is the original name for the XBOX ONE.
WHATS 360 X 2 = 720.
The successor to the 360 was going to be called the 720.
Then they changed it to XBOX ONE.
English
#Destiny

1 AntwortenBy the time D2 comes out, ps4 and xb1 will be old gen.
-
There are no cross platform games in development. As of right now many developers and publishers are not happy with the soon to be released newer upgraded PS4 and a possible upgraded Xbox one.

Deep deep wall of text on photo bucket it must be real deep derp

2 AntwortenBearbeitet von PushedBean764: 5/7/2016 7:48:41 PMXbox 360 is no longer being manufactured, sooo... no more new games are being made for it. Other than the ones planned before the announcement. Most likely games will stop being released for 360 by the end of July/September, with the exception of DLC for games like Destiny.
-
4 AntwortenNope. Old gen is being phased out and servers will be shut down.
-
360 is going why do you think Microsoft is making 360 games compatible with the Xbox one it's so we can still play are favorite 360 games on the one when 360 is gone
-
http://moviepilot.com/posts/3729653 Interesting read about why the real destiny 2 shouldn't be on old gen consoles. But they're also no longer making old gen consoles and as new games progress it'll be harder and harder for old gen to keep up. It'll just hold back these games that could be great. Leaving old gen behind will also, hopefully, persuade players to upgrade. It's for the best.

Well since destiny 2 was supposed to in 2 years after destiny 1, but that ain't happening. I think they got it changed.

4 AntwortenDestiny 2 = Destiny TTK check your facts

2 AntwortenBearbeitet von sweeniss: 5/8/2016 2:55:32 AMI think they could get away with not doing that considering the xbox360 is discontinued

2 AntwortenBearbeitet von ThaPerna: 5/8/2016 3:02:49 AMNot if they disconnect the servers for 360.

Upload the entire contract

Activision has stopped publishing Last Gen games Infinite Warfare being current gen only is bad news for PS3 or Xbox360 Destiny players
-
So you have a picture of something possibly photoshopped for all I know and you expect me to believe it, not to mention the fact that IF this is real (don't think it is) and I mean IF, certainly they could have come up with a new contract since saying ps4 and Xbox 360 will not be getting it. It all boils down to - I don't believe you, show me the actual contract, or your a liar. Also even if you aren't a liar, you're a liar regardless, since this could have changed. No one knows what happens behind closed doors between bungie and activision.
-
I think they will leave old gen behind. It's time to move on from ps3.

The same contact outlined that there would be two dlcs at this time.

The FitnessGram™ Pacer Test is a multistage aerobic capacity test that progressively gets more difficult as it continues. The 20 meter pacer test will begin in 30 seconds. Line up at the start. The running speed starts slowly, but gets faster each minute after you hear this signal. [beep] A single lap should be completed each time you hear this sound. [ding] Remember to run in a straight line, and run as long as possible. The second time you fail to complete a lap before the sound, your test is over. The test will begin on the word start. On your mark, get ready, start.

Everyone, stop wasting your time with this troll... they post the same links that prove nothing in each comment and his only replies are "so" and "I make $$$$$and you're wrong" Just let them crawl back to the bridge.

2 AntwortenDestiny 2 won't be old gen.

*cough cough* DLCs *cough cough*

13 AntwortenI find it hard to believe anything someone posts who isn't smart enough to create a different class when creating a new character.
-
10 AntwortenToo bad the 360 is discontinued, so no more games will be made for it
-
The original contract also mandated 2 DLC's each year, but that's out the window. Given that Xbox 360 support is going to stop, I doubt they'll push for a dying console.
-
That would suck to be honest......

There are a million ways to get out of contractual obligations. This one would be particularly simple as there won't be any more support for 360 rendering the game unplayable. Don't think it would take much to prove that part of the contract is now unreasonable.
