Why i cant play a Strike the Normal way anymore?
Why is every F.... Kid Running thru the whole strike only to get as fast as possible to the Boss? i want to play a Shooter not a Running Simulator. since many New Players came,especially jung ones,there is no real teamwork anymore. the have full raidgear from carries but hide in almost every strike bossfights in cheese spots,Really? Is this whats Destiny become. I Report Minimum 10 Players a Day for Skipping all encounters in strikes and not helping the others in strikes and let them alone with all the stuff. When you want to FARM STRIKEs then do it with a fireteam but please leave us Puplic Matchmaking Strike Players alone. Because i cant even Play a Strike the way it is intended. I hope Bungie is programming Strikes in the Future the way where you have to kill all Enemies in the Area before you can go to the next section. And to the People who actually play the way its intented and Help you are the Best.

Most people have 4000 strikes completions, so to not skip adds it can feel really drawn out. I always just follow the group and either run past or kill.

1 AntwortenI just kill everything in sight then move on to the next stage. Always have done, always will. Day 2 player and I still actually enjoy the strikes it's a nice way to relax. When you start grinding strikes for gear or whatever it becomes more of a chore and just isn't enjoyable. The strike specific gear will drop eventually. That's how I play anyway

I used to feel like you back in year 1. But now I just run through them like everyone else. I'm guessing bungie doesn't mind this since they haven't changed it yet and even the new strikes let you run past certain parts.

Lol, it's a game calm down. You can also get a fire team to do the strikes how you want to do it, you can't tell them how they should play the game, nor can they tell you, neither party is right, it's a game, grow up

Yesterday I went through omnigal strikel with two other randoms all three of us running. Striker Titan two of us using zhalo supercell It was a blast shoulder charging and feeding each other orbs with FoH, lightning granades and over all electricity everywhere. Probaly one of the fastest runs I ever had on that strike. Sad thing was we were all matched up again for the next strike in the playlist as well. And guess what one it was. In true Destiny fashion it was the same damn strike.....both players left.

No no, you are dead wrong. I'm a striker. Been goin hard for a year and a half. Every time you complete a strike you get a little better at it. When you get better at something you start to be able to do it faster. Around the thousandth strike they become a race. Speed run. 7:52 Omnigul

1 AntwortenI go with the flow. If everyone wants to kill everything, fine. If they want to run through it, thats cool too. Strikes aren't that fun to me, but when I play for gear, rep, marks, quests, whatever, I usually play Solo so I'm one person out of three. I let the majority decide.

Why don't you get a fireteam to go through it slowly? Then you can play how you want.

I feel speedrunning a strike makes it harder. So much stuff shooting at you one mess up and youre dead

Its called not wanting to waste time on bording pve and get rewards faster 3 fulls. Oh makes it even worse with the booster that has a time limit.

Strikes are no fun for me at all, I enjoy pvp so when I grind strikes for gear or rep I want to get them done as soon as possible. Who are you to tell ppl how to run a strike also lol. If they are suppose to be run the way you want them to be don't you think bungie would prevent you from running past those certain sections?

People run thro the strikes as fast as they can because they only care about the loot, at this point. Sure, each strike is cool to actually play through.... for the first 3 dozen times. But we have literally played the same strikes hundreds of times at this point. They aren't fun anymore. They are just a chore, but the reward is good loot. The better question is, why do people still do strikes? They have grown boring and tedious like nothing else. I'd rather play a game of crucible, even Clash (by far the most boring and tedious playlist), and try and cope with the laggy mess, than play Darkblade one more time. #TitanMasterRace

6 AntwortenIve been playing destiny since alpha and i dont always have 2 other players to have run strikes with so i do them match making. I dont want to spend 30 minutes on a strike that can be done in 8 because you want to kill every last trash mob in the -blam!-ing game before you move ten feet to kill the next wave of trash mobs. Whats the real reason you want to kill everything in any area? Leveling gear? Hoping for a drop? I dont get what you need from trash mobs that mobs in the boss room or the boss cant drop itself. If you dont like it then dont do strikes or just get over it and do them how you want to and let everyone else speed run the strikes like they want too. To each their own right? So if they want to speed run let them if you wanna kill all ten million trash mobs before you move on then go ahead. But in the end taking 30 minutes on a strike to get two blue gear drops is trash.

It just depends on who you are matched with. If you get the ADD kids they usually will die a lot and try to run past absolutely everything

Lol so basically what im reading is you need 2 team mates to hold your hand and carry you through strikes.

2 AntwortenI prefer to speed-run strikes. However, when I'm playing with a matchmade fireteam; I'll simply follow the leader. If they're killing everything: I'll kill everything. If they're running past everything: I'll run past everything.
