Why i cant play a Strike the Normal way anymore?
Why is every F.... Kid Running thru the whole strike only to get as fast as possible to the Boss? i want to play a Shooter not a Running Simulator. since many New Players came,especially jung ones,there is no real teamwork anymore. the have full raidgear from carries but hide in almost every strike bossfights in cheese spots,Really? Is this whats Destiny become. I Report Minimum 10 Players a Day for Skipping all encounters in strikes and not helping the others in strikes and let them alone with all the stuff. When you want to FARM STRIKEs then do it with a fireteam but please leave us Puplic Matchmaking Strike Players alone. Because i cant even Play a Strike the way it is intended. I hope Bungie is programming Strikes in the Future the way where you have to kill all Enemies in the Area before you can go to the next section. And to the People who actually play the way its intented and Help you are the Best.

I see where you're coming from. But I disagree. If it was intended to kill everyone in order to proceed, then that's how the game would be. It's kind of a bitch move to report people because you aren't satisfied with their playing style. How about if you want to play a certain way, you get the fireteam together. Problem solved. Don't go putting people on bungies radar because you don't like who you've teamed up with.

I just let them pull me through. Put down the controller, go have a smoke, come back and use a 3oc and i spawn at the boss. It only annoys me when im doing bounties.

The boss is the only payout. Wanna get fractions of XP and enough Blues to fill Al Capone's vault for killing adds? Try Patrol.

The rest of us will be on the next strike fighting the boss. The nexus strike annoys me most. When the one guy stays in the tunnel before you drop to snipe the boss but they can't handle the minotaur that spawns. I tend to hang back to see if they don't jump down, switch to striker and shoulder charge them off the ledge.

Because nobody plays strikes for fun and to pass time. People play strikes to get loot dumb

Boss killed, game done, reward granted and buff still available for another strike. Kill everything, same result, except, less strikes to run during the buff. You like to kill everything, get a group that also does and play with them. Rest of us just want the strikes done, and, as many as can be fit into the 2 hour buff. And, I know you are joking. You'd better be or I finally met someone DTS...

"I report 10 players a day for speeding through strikes" You're joking, right? This is bait, yes? A poor attempt at satire? Please please please tell me you're trying to get a laugh or just attention? This can't be real, right? You can't in no way shape or form be that incredibly stupid, can you?

When you are using boosters, you want to just run through it to get the rep. I personally don't care if we run through it, or kill everything.

Your problem is doing matchmaking, and then assuming nearly everyone plays the same as you. Majority of players skip as much as possible, not the other way around. Besides, in a grindy game like Destiny there's only so many times you can kill the same worthless enemies over and over before it becomes more of a chore than rewarding gameplay.

31 AntwortenIt sounds like you suck and are not able to clear ads so you want someone to hold hands with while you gallop gleefully to your boss... Why don't you get a fire team of you want to go as slow as possible in this already drawn out DLC.

1 AntwortenI agree but we are in the minority. Most blaze thought it pretty fast. I play destiny because I enjoy the gameplay. I think that skipping all the gameplay defeats the outpost of playing.

Some areas are acceptable. Ex. Taniks strike. The shriekers... I was running Jenny! The group of hive after you first enter hellmouth.... I was running Jenny! The area with the fallen and hive fighting.... you guessed it! I was running Jenny! But once variks gets on the mic talking bout field distortion. It's time for battle!

If you want to crawl through each strike, then form a team of friends that all feel the same way as you do. Otherwise deal with it

Usually when i run strikes i use a vanguard rep booster. So im going to do it as fast as possible.

I say, the more enemies you kill, the more chances for engrams. So I kill every enemy that's involved with the actual strike as often as possible unless I'm clearly being left behind by both of my teammates. But I'm usually able to keep up or be right behind them.

Gen Xers like me are running through strikes too. Killing the boss as quickly as possible serves the story. What's the in-game goal of a strike? It's killing the boss. The little guys don't matter. They are endless. Only the bosses matter. Killing the boss as quickly as possible gets you more gear in less time. I only have so much free time, and damned if I'll spend it killing thrall for no good reason. If I want to kills adds doe good reason, I'll run 42 PoE. Running through strikes is fun. Ever heard of "speed running"?

Most people have 4000 strikes completions, so to not skip adds it can feel really drawn out. I always just follow the group and either run past or kill.
