I'm just curious what everybody thinks.

I'm ok with kids, as long as they're respectable, and aren't obnoxious, and it goes the same way with teenagers, and adults. Just play the game, communicate or don't communicate.
-
As long as they don't bug the shit out of me, I'll play with anyone regardless of age, though unless I'm playing with people I know, 90% of the time I have the game volume off and my music going.
-
I once fit at least one or two of these stereotypes on kid gamers. I have since then outgrew them, so I just think of it that way. They'll mature eventually. As long as the person I'm playing with isn't grating my nerves or purposefully trying to bother me, I don't care. That applies to everyone.

5 AntwortenI don't like playing with really young kids, like ten and under. GTA has a lot of them for some reason.
-
Occasionally there are those kids that are pretty laid back and cool to play with. You don't meet them but maybe once or twice a year however.
-
Kids aren't my thing, but I'm not going to take away someone's fun just because I don't get along with them. I was, at one point, that super annoying 12 year old girl on Halo 2 or my WoW guild's ventrilo server. People were patient with me and didn't talk down to me. It taught me a lot of good interpersonal skills and I'm forever grateful for that patience. I learned that I didn't have to be a profanity spewing edgelord to get people to like me. Not saying that you can't leave a space if an annoying kid is there, but I totally understand if someone doesn't want to stay around where an annoying kid is.

1 AntwortenAs long as they're not obnoxious, I could care less. What I really hate is when children cuss like sailors and act like they're king of the world.
-
Kids should be playing outside.

I have no problem with younger gamers. I've been gaming since I was four when my older brother got an NES for his birthday. I get it. I do. Your friends are over and they're watching you play. They make jokes and tell you that you suck when you die. Mom and Dad yell at you for not cleaning your room or doing the dishes. They say your grades are bad and it's all because of video games. I remember it all like it was yesterday. But please, mute your damn mic!

I was a child gamer at one point, they're fine but I still won't be playing with them. Nothing personal, but as an adult male, I have different people I would have more fun playing with, and be less uncomfortable around.

If your parents are willing to buy you the game that's fine by me. But you can bet your ass I'm not playing against a bunch of cheating little squeakers! WHY CANT YOU EAT PLAY-DOUGH LIKE THE REST OF YOUR FRIENDS?! [/quote] -Merkmusic

As long as they don't get cocky and then brag about skill they lack. So I am 16 and I was playing on my alt account that is only 300 and I needed to get the bounty for NTTE so I queue up with some older guys and naturally my voice is a bit higher then theirs but I have done the VoG countless times (more than all the guys in the lobby combined (most of them were Taken Tots)) and since my light level was about 15 or 20 lower than theirs and I am on my alt account so my grim is like 2300 and theirs is around 4300 (main is 4810 I think) so I have been tearing it up and getting twice as many kills as them and my only deaths have been wipes due to failures on their end, then we get to the gorgons and we have it a few tries but these guys had no idea how to do it so I tell them that I can solo it and they don't believe me and they thought I was getting cocky so they kicked me and told me to go -blam!- myself. So (still in the party) I start up the raid on my own, solo it and get to the jumping puzzle and these guys were still trying to figure out how this part works and by the time they agreed on a strat I told them to join me because I already finished it and they don't believe me so they join me and wby the time they all join I have already made it to Atheon's Illuminati door and I was dancing, they never doubted me again after that and when I soloed the left portal during gatekeeper

Here's my problem with this. These are kids we're talking about like around 10 and younger right? Well, they're kids. They're loud, disrespectful, and sometimes very annoying. I play with a 10 year old girl on Warframe who always threatens to smack me if I don't give her what she wants and questions everything. But she a kid so I don't get annoyed. Not all kids are like this but most are so you guys are honestly just going to have to put up with it. My point is, you guys can't say "I'm fine with playing with you if you meet these requirements."

1 AntwortenShouldn't play M rated games
-
Kid, where's ya mum or pa? Jk, i was a kid gamer at one point. But u never used my mic because hearing grown ass people screaming at a video game was annoying. Now I'm grown and hearing both is annoying.
-
Kids are annoying
-
In person, I can't stand children (though that's a personal issue, nothing actually against kids). As for gaming, so long as they pull their weight and don't scream into my ears, I'm fine with them.
-
If they are not squeakers they are fine
-
I don't care, but I don't want to play with them. If I wanted to play with kids I'd play couch co-op with mine.
-
Unless they're well-mannered and mature, I don't want them on my team. I play video games to relax, not babysit.
-
As long as they dont scream and be obnoxious.
-
I'm fine as long as they're mature enough to act like a normal human being
-
They are kids.
-
I'm jaunt saying kids who are 12 and Younger shouldn't be playing black ops

As long as they don't scream into the mic when they die, or constantly talk over and over and interrupt people when they're trying to talk I'm fine with them
