Why is everyone always getting so excited about full auto on scouts and pulses? Is such a minor convenience really worth giving up a good perk slot?
Tell me why it's worth so much to you, or why it isn't.
Edit 1: Full auto DOES NOT increase a "hidden fire rate stat." If anyone tells you this, make fun of them.
Edit 2: I will never accept over sampling as an adequate excuse. But that's just my opinion, so it's nothing personal.
Edit 3: hands down my most popular post. My goal here was to gather opinions, and maybe give some of my own to try and delve deeper into your reasoning. I now have more information than I needed and that is truly a great thing in this scenario.

For that sore trigger finger

I find that less finger bashing gives you better control with aim. I seem to be more accurate with full auto scouts/pulse rifles. That's why I like the perk.

Full auto on a high rof scout feels like a low rof auto but with much higher precision damage and range. I like autos but hate their stats so I like using inward lamp instead.

To me it's a wasted perk. Just lazy people like it
-
You say oversampling isn't an excuse but for me sometimes it is... I'll see a bunch of enemies and try to spam my scout as fast as possible but end up shooting slower than normal because I'm not pacing right, and full auto does this for me, so one less thing to focus on :P Pulses however, I feel don't need full auto to be decent. The trigger pacing is much slower and easier to maintain (in my opinion anyways) than scouts. Plus, pulses can be very potent if they manage to roll 2 good perks instead of one good one and full auto.

I love it because my finger doesn't get as tired
-
its a perk for laziness to me i wanted counterbalance on that pdx 45 but its still good
-
Cos old gits like me get finger pains lol
-
I have a squeaky trigger. Saves me throwing the controller
-
full auto helps control the recoil for most players
-
because it makes my suros DIS 47 a monster in PVP ( on my hunter for reference )
-
…I apologise, I love bungie xxx - alt
To be honest when I had full auto it made me lazy. Lol -
1 AntwortenWhen you get older your trigger finger gets tired on the scouts especially the fast rof scouts like Dis-47. Even MIDA might be good with it imo.
-
Just like most perks it's personal preference. I have an easier time keeping myself trained on target with full auto scouts and pulses, so I do like it. It's not my favorite perk of all time, however.
-
In my opinion full auto is better on scouts than pulses.
-
It's just a nice thing to have, especially on a scout rifle. And for a scout, it is especially good on a high rate of fire scout like dis-47 from the gunsmith, as it means you achieve max fire rate all the time with that weapon if you have full auto.

1 AntwortenTbh I'm just a lazy ass
-
3 AntwortenI like it on Auto Rifles.
kek
3 AntwortenIt does make a difference I'll tell you that. Forget what these kids tell you about realigning their shots with a pulse rifle that doesn't fire in full auto. Realigning your shots can get you killed! Spraying your full auto, high rate of fire weapon is the new meta!
-
6 AntwortenMy trigger finger is too fast. I often over shoot my targets and it costs me the kill. With full auto I don't need to worry
-
1 AntwortenFull auto on last word. Boom
-
My finger gets tired easily
-
What would be worse? Rolling Send It on a rocket launcher or Full Auto on an auto rifle?
-
Full auto is awesome on shotguns, it actually does boost the fire rate
-
I like it on scout rifles...hate it on pulse rifles...can't get the hang of the rhythm on a pulse rifle....I like it on scouts...because...I'm lazy. \(^o^)/
