Why is everyone always getting so excited about full auto on scouts and pulses? Is such a minor convenience really worth giving up a good perk slot?
Tell me why it's worth so much to you, or why it isn't.
Edit 1: Full auto DOES NOT increase a "hidden fire rate stat." If anyone tells you this, make fun of them.
Edit 2: I will never accept over sampling as an adequate excuse. But that's just my opinion, so it's nothing personal.
Edit 3: hands down my most popular post. My goal here was to gather opinions, and maybe give some of my own to try and delve deeper into your reasoning. I now have more information than I needed and that is truly a great thing in this scenario.

18 AntwortenFire rate is only increased by Full Auto on Handcannons (TLW) and Shotguns
-
It is really valuable on high-rof weapons for a couple of reasons: First - you're maximizing bullets in the air. On one hand, this is valuable; but it changes the way a good player approaches precision. At the same time, it is really, really effective to line up in a choke point and spam bullets. Second - with a high-rate PR or SR, the action of pulling the trigger rapidly and constantly introduces fatigue and controller movement as things to consider. A full-auto PR or SR is generally easier to control than an AR, and in most cases can do more damage at longer distances. I'm not advocating full-auto as a must-have, so please don't misunderstand - there are plenty of perks I'd be just as happy to have - and for some guns, full auto is just a waste of space. On the right gun it is a strong value add.

I bought a pdx-45 full auto last week and l like it. Much better than I thought it would be. Easy to control. Makes bad juju look really really bad. Just take some time and get used to it. Fun to have some variety. I bought a full auto pdx-41. Wow. I didn't think it would work well. Surprise. I think it can out gun the 45. Put some time in these two guns and they will reward you. Ps, get the spo- 28 sights.

I like it on my Doctrine
-
I fire faster than MIDA with the high road soldier with full auto, it has the same damage.
-
Pdx45 last week from gunny smith with full auto works very well in pvp

Personal preference

I find full auto makes your aim worse, as you tend to spray and pray more, without full auto you aim and then shoot, pacing your shots better. It can be good on some pulse rifles, but it's stupid on scouts.
-
It's full auto good??? Oh yeeeesssss
-
I have a hard enough time aiming, the weapon firing for me just helps.
-
2 AntwortenIt depends, some people can tap and aim really good at the same time, then it is a waste, for me full auto is a benefit.
-
Full auto does increase fire rate of shotguns, not sure about any other weapons. Not having to mash the trigger helps increase accuracy, I like it. I perform very well with my full auto PDX-45 and inward lamp that's proof enough for me.
-
1 AntwortenI am a terrible shot in fps games, especially PvP. With scouts and pulse rifles I aim all over the place having to constantly press the button, I just can't keep the controller steady. I found a scout with full auto and love it. The first non auto rifle I've actually enjoyed using.
-
I don't think it increases fire rate at all. The only thing full auto will do is fire as fast as that weapon will allow, completely removing human error. However, if you're good at using scouts or pulses, you don't need that perk because you'll know exactly when you can fire again. You won't need to furiously tap the fire button, you'll know exactly when to press it.
-
IMO it's useless on Pulse, you can easily shoot just as fast without it. It can be useful on Scout rifles
-
1 AntwortenIf your mashing your trigger, you may miss the slightest time to fire again, so holding the trigger can be beneficial. Say an enemy is running to cover and you're mashing the trigger, that split second of mashing may make him get away before you can shoot, so full auto takes advantage of the smallest bit of time between shots. That answer your question?
-
1 AntwortenI find it useless really. That's from using the hell out of the dmr and battle rifle in halo.
-
6 AntwortenAny pulse with Fullauto Counterbalance Hand laid stock Is a god roll i think.
-
I'm lazy and don't like repeatedly pulling the trigger...
-
1 AntwortenMy Invective......super killer honestly. Literally a super destroyer.
-
Depends, its worthless on hakke pulse rifles, because its barely different than the normal rate of fire, but other pulses, like bad juju, are good examples of full auto being useful
-
The only full auto scout I have was VoC. The other choice of perks are much more beneficial compares to convince to just holding the trigger down. Same with pulse rifle... Only noticeable full auto perk are high rate of fire Shotguns. Mini Four Horsemen.

3 AntwortenBearbeitet von finRatman: 5/6/2016 4:55:26 AMYeah, I saw a thread where someone kept saying it would increase the fire rate by 5-10% and it was confirmed by I don't know, a Youtuber or something. But come on! If it's confirmed why can't you tell exactly how much the fire rate is increased instead of 5-10%? I decided to get this weeks Suros PDX-45 with Full Auto to test this myself, and judging by the results, it doesn't increase the fire rate at all. And if it does, it's so minimal (like 1 frame) it makes no difference in the gameplay except saves you from the trouble of hitting the trigger. http://xboxdvr.com/gamer/finRatman/video/17273848 Luckily I had another order for this weapon so I'm not really losing anything.
-
Only increases RoF on shotguns. Don't believe. YouTube it. My party crasher with full auto shoots pretty damn fast too.
-
The full auto dis 47 literally feels like y1 suros in its glory days. That's why. It makes it more like a very high impact low fire rate autorifle.
