Why is everyone always getting so excited about full auto on scouts and pulses? Is such a minor convenience really worth giving up a good perk slot?
Tell me why it's worth so much to you, or why it isn't.
Edit 1: Full auto DOES NOT increase a "hidden fire rate stat." If anyone tells you this, make fun of them.
Edit 2: I will never accept over sampling as an adequate excuse. But that's just my opinion, so it's nothing personal.
Edit 3: hands down my most popular post. My goal here was to gather opinions, and maybe give some of my own to try and delve deeper into your reasoning. I now have more information than I needed and that is truly a great thing in this scenario.

1 AntwortenDepends on the type of Pulse or Scout. It does add a small increase in RoF, at least I've noticed it has. For instance, The Villainy with full auto is decent, but not the best. It's a slow hard-hitting Pulse Rifle, which means you're gonna have to get in all the hits to kill em. Hawksaw or Grasp of Malok does full auto better though. Mid to high RoF pulses will make good work of full auto. Small impact, but decent enough fire rate to get the kill on time. Scouts on the other hand with full auto are very useful. Take the NLX Shadow scout for example. It's like a legendary Mida. Fast firing, decent impact, big mag for a scout. With the small increase to RoF that full auto gives, that makes the NLX Shadow great. Pair it up with Firefly or Outlaw, and you've got a ramming machine. But full auto on Colovance's Duty...isn't so good though. :/ Very slow RoF, even with high impact full auto doesn't really grant it enough merit for quick TTK. Even with the small RoF increase, it still doesn't kill fast enough. I'd save it for using it in a sniper hallway with a lot of activity going on. So in conclusion, Full Auto is a good perk but it's really meant for high RoF guns.

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von beastballa10: 5/8/2016 7:48:48 PMIt is pretty good on that armsday weapon pdx-45

My dis-43 with full auto and max stability is nasty. Without full auto itd still be good, but with it its dirt mcgirt.
-
I would say it's only useful for high RoF scouts and pulses. Otherwise it's a waste.
-
It is good if your trigger finger is crap
-
Simply put, ease of use and less finger fatigue. It's definitely more useful on hrof guns though.

Full auto helps when you often have to take down something in a hurry, it will be rarely needed when you have to frequently readjust your aim (when fighting ennemies at extreme range with those unstable "tube" scopes, for instance). Just think of Full Auto on the Touch of Malice: it might not have much use against the weakest minions (you'd receive less damage if accurate precision shots were used instead), but it's incredibly helpful (not essential, but still helpful) when you only wish to spray as many bullets as possible before the immortality aura expire.

It's good on something like the DIS-47 or Deadshot Luna.

Bearbeitet von Tamed: 5/8/2016 5:46:44 PMImo its a good perk on the highest RoF scouts. Its pretty inconvenient to have to spam the trigger that fast. I also enjoyed it on my oversoul edict back in year 1. But then I got Praedyth's timepiece and I realized full auto wasn't needed on pulse rifles at all. Its honestly an overrated perk but it has its niche. I wish VoC, Bad Juju and NttE didn't have full auto.

I guess it just takes away the chance at player mistakes that way you can shoot the gun as fast as possible consistently instead of always mashing the triggers and possibly shooting slower
-
1 AntwortenI could have sworn it actually does increase shotgun fire rate. I mean I checked before activating the perk and it became much faster after activating it. Unless that's not true I might be misremembering.
-
You know I'd say something about Full Auto but after reading your responses to other people I am just gonna say you look like an asshole.
-
Depends on the gun itself Full auto on a nlshadow scout is a life saver for your fingers
-
2 AntwortenI think it's retarded because if you want full auto, go buy an auto rifle
-
5 AntwortenTo me not really. On a scout it's a wasted perk imo. I use scouts for the pin point accuracy they can have. Don't need or want full auto. On a pulse yeah maybe. But only bc I'm lazy. Well the juju made me that way. I love the whole full auto , auto kill reload. But I'm not sure any other gun can or will behave this way.
-
There aren't very many guns that it works well on, honestly. Besides, I prefer making careful shots, and full auto encourages too much wild bullet spray to no end. Some people just have a lazy trigger finger
-
2 AntwortenI like to rub my nipples.
-
4 AntwortenI like it, mida hurts my trigger finger, with the others I just let lose, as far as pulse rifles, I had the hawkmoon and that thing was garbage, went back to bad juju
-
Sometimes full auto makes the gun fire and forget kind of. Its just one less thing to focus on and I can focus on aim.
-
1 AntwortenReally good for auto rifles
-
Fully auto on snipers 😂
-
It doesn't make the rate of fire any higher, but it is removing any latency due to trigger pull on the controller over and over thus making it "faster".
-
1 AntwortenI prefer full auto on auto rifles versus a scout.

2 AntwortenIsn't it just preference?
