Titans are like..

Hipsters in the 2000s. We can't get good enough abilities to challenge the other classes in endgame PvP. Warlocks have: • Crazy DoT • Flame shield that guarantees fist fight victories • Easiest and best PvP super in the game by far • Firebolt grenades • Longest base range melee Hunters have: • Shadestep • Tracking through walls • Smoke • Invisibility • Wombo Combo •"front" stab •(fixed finally) •tripmines Titans have: • Shoulder charge •and maybe simmering flames if that can classify as "cheesy" •lightning nades (Still very overrated, no better then tripmines but some people have autism and like to stand in our nades.) All I'm saying is buff titans (defender and sunbreakers technically.) , give us something that can actually help in end game PvP. Go ahead talk more shit about titans and how "stupid" we are. It's a video game lmao. Edit 2: because ninjas ain't got nothing on me. Edit 3: I like how as soon as I make edit 2 I get a ban report for disruption/disrespect. Come on guys you're not that butthurt are you? (Also it's my bday!! May 2nd !!) Edit 4: wow this trended faster then I thought it would, on my main acc no one even talks to me.. Either way my point still stands.

    • This is nothing but the truth. Destiny needs to take criticism as of now because of how they dropped the ball with Warlock DoT. "It's the only thing they have!" Really? What happened to hammers? It was the only thing that made Titans feel powerful and that got nerfed? If anything, whoever is telling this man to grow up, need to play as a Titan for a week, then talk to me.

          Titans have: 170 damage melee Hunter super with a 25 second cool down (grenade) Over shield strong enough to tank a golden gun/sniper shot Fastest class in the game (combined with juggernaut for speed + tank) Lightning Grenades which aren't OP, just very good for priming targets and locking down chokepoints. Can tank flux grenade/magnetic grenade without exotic armor (Ram) Must I say more? All classes have strong abilities. Shadestep, Viking funeral, Juggernaut. Not saying nerf titans, but also not saying Hunters and Warlocks aren't extremely good.

            Twilight garrison needs a ground evade, like for instance, if I'm in the air and not pushing a directional button, I should evade towards the ground!!

          • Giving the titan classes some kind of synergy would be amazing. Voidwalkers were good, now they're great with the energy drain and all the perks make it so you can build the class and not go wrong. Strikers seem to have a lot of zone control capabilities. Reworking the class to make the perks synergize with the abilities and give Strikers the ability to control areas would make the class a hell of a lot better. Defenders clearly are the weakest pvp subclass. It's easily countered by every other subclass. The easy fix would be to make the Ward of Dawn a literal fortress. Adding a suppression field for the inside of dome would be a huge help. Sunbreakers are exterminators. You pop your hammer, go into an area, and wipe out everything in it. Simply bringing up the hammers throw speed, raising the armor slightly, and fixing the proximity would make this class less of a joke. I'm more afraid of Bladedancers than Sunbreakers. Fact is that Bungie doesn't give two squirts about the Titan and will make the Hunter better and in Destiny 2 they'll figure out how to phase the Titan out and people will be stuck playing Bungie's golden children.

                  DEAR GOD QUIT IT WITH THE COMPLAINING ABOUT THE DOT I have an amazing quest for you, Something no titan has ever done. Equip Sunbreaker and punch an enemy, Swap to Sunsinger and Equip touch of flame and Viking funeral, hit someone with a firebolt grenade and Scorch (The melee), Watch All Damage numbers. Compare them Sunbreaker: 104 + 12 ticks of 7 (12x7) for a total of 188 damage (More than Possible for all other melees) Sunsinger: Firebolt: 86 + 12 ticks of 7 (6x7) for a total of 170 (Slightly above melee) Scorch: 122 + 10 ticks of 7 (6x7) for a total of 192 Now I can probably guess what you are thinking "See? We are weaker, -blam!-in dumbass". Let me point out a step I said earlier; "Equip touch of flame and Viking funeral" Viking funeral improves DOT correct? Now let me compare the DOT of both classes. Sunbreaker: 12 Ticks of 7 (12x7) Sunsinger: 10 ticks of 7 (10x7) Wait. . . . . . . But warlocks need a perk to do this. . . . but you get it regardless. We also need 2 perks for our Melee to get a slight improvement over Your melee. . . Where's the proof you say? let's take the number from up top for the Firebolt grenade Firebolt: 86 + 12 x 7 = 170 ,Now lets compare other TITAN grenades (the ones Titans say are stupid) [u]Sunbreaker grenades[/u] Fusion: 167+ 80 stick damage = 247 damage total, Kills a full health guardian. 247>170, Firebolt weaker Incendiary: ~170(range from target)+ 5 ticks of 7 (5 x 7) = ~205, ~205 > 170, Firebolt [u]TECHNICALLY[/u] weaker Thermite grenade: 4 ticks of 47 (4x47) = 188, can't kill. 188 > 170, Firebolt [u]TECHNICALLY[/u] weaker [u]Striker grenades[/u] Flashbang grenade: ~170 (Range from target), Can't kill, 170 = 170, Firebolt [u]TECHNICALLY[/u] the same Lightning grenade: 3 ticks of 122 (3x122,4x122 with aftershocks) = 366, 366 > 170, Firebolt weaker Pulse grenade: 4 ticks of 61 (4x61) = 244, 244 > 170, Firebolt [u]Technically[/u] weaker [u]Defender Grenades[/u] Suppressor grenade: ~170 (Range from target), ~170 = 170, Firebolt [u]TECHNICALLY[/u] the same Spike grenade: 17 ticks of ~20(Range from target) 20 x 17 = 340, 340 > 170, Firebolt [u]TECHNICALLY[/u] weaker Magenetic grenade: 122 + 79 stick + 80 secondary blast = 281, 281 > 170, Firebolt weaker Edit 5: -blam!- me.... Gonna have to thank Internet Police for making me question my math and do a Live test with the current state of the game, I was using footage prior to the December Update, Regardless of the fact that It was not mentioned in the patch notes, Burn time and Hence total damage Did change, and holy..... Wow, Viking funeral needs a -blam!-in nerf, I will be correcting and removing Edits to shorten the length of this post My Suggested solution to Viking funeral is Remove it, but make the warlock melee Slightly weaker than the titan melee to Make up for The extended range (160 total damage for warlock keep 188 for titan). Thermal vent can indeed still be a 1 hit kill to the LOWEST of armor (No armor boosting effects at all), Maybe change that so it can no longer affect the person hit by it. While this does Greatly change my opinion and my Incorrect Numbers, this does not even slightly sway my opinion on the other perks in the Sunsinger tree and what would happen if our 1 good option was removed (Viking funeral,Touch of flame,Flame shield,Fireborn) without first buffing the other perks. I also did a Re-test for range as my previous was very poor, I had to bring in a friend and we found a Classic rumble match with just us, We used the Heavy ammo boxes to determine Grenade range and their Kill range in the case of Incendiary. 4M is still the kill range for Incendiary but the actual total range for it is 15 meters (Anything past 10M does very little damage). Firebolt is 8M. I don't think a nerf needs to be made to Firebolt itself, Because Removing its burn altogether gives us a grenade that is just arcbolt, but cannot chain to far targets, and we all know how little arcbolt is used now.

                    • You're smoking crack what is overrated about a lighting grenades? and Titans are just fine they need to get nerfed if anything running around with an instakill and your grenades can turn off supers, your punches make a fire spot and if you stand in it you have a overshield. Meanwhile Hunters can't win a melee battle with any character and blink strike misses half the time and Hey y'all have an air evade!! what more do you want?

                              • Wait Titans have DOT as well but they don't use it why because they have a panic that is an instant kill and can even make a trail for people that are far away and can survive DOT by activating either a panic fist (by timing it correctly) or a panic bubble with armor on it warlocks can now get sniped out of all their supers so it's not even as bad as it was b4 I'm a warlock and I even admit they were overpowered af b4 the patch but at least we couldn't spam 20+ hammers within 20 seconds or had a super that survived anything and still can which is the striker with unstoppable but people don't want to use that Bc they want a 1 HIT melee at any time they want by running in a wall then out the door or a fire hammer that survived 2-3 golden gun shots depending on how high their armor was and now they have an evade still can survive a lot of shit (which I can understand tbh Bc they are SUPPOSED TO BE TANKS) but not I feel it's more balanced and they still have damage over time and don't get me started on year one with all the thorns I seen everyone using that's where the real DOT was
